Hi /r/,
I've been wondering whether an application like this exists..
I'm looking for piano application in which you can insert your own notes (read from paper and "write" in the application) and then play it, change tempo and play chords and whatnot..
Does something like this even exist?
Posting tits as thank you

There are countless music programs out there, most for free if you torrent. There are basic MIDI editors like one I had as a kid, I think it was called MusicWrite, all the way up to DAWs (digital audio workstations) like FL Studio or Ableton. I would get the newest version of FL you can find on The Pirate Bay or something, then just find or download a good piano plugin you like and write away. If u get a MIDI keyboard you can even record in the notes you play in real time and edit them later. FL writes in a "piano roll" format but it is capable of exporting sheet music PDFs.

hmm.. FL Studio looks nice, but to be frank it most likely won't be me that'll be using that application, it will be my SO since she actually needs to study and learn how to play different pieces for her university and FL Studio will definitely be too complicated for her and not practical..
Idea behind this was, since she has the sheets and all, that she could write the sheets into the app and then play it to see how it should go..
