There isn't just one way to do it. Every picture is different on the method that you need to use. It depends on so many factors; lighting, angle, resolution, amount of skin visible, and other things. You need to familiarize yourself with AT LEAST these tools: selection, healing, brush (color), clone stamp, eraser, blur, sharpen, smudge, dodge, burn, sponge. And that's just the start. Knowing when and how to use ALL the tools is how you get good.

Some guys here only have 1 or two methods and they choose photos that work for their methods. When you get good you can do any photo but what you choose will be based on how long it is going to take. That is all...
