I hope this is the right spot.

So I watched a movie (mid-late 2000s). It had a girl who was an author/writer who moved to England with her husband. I think she witnessed a murder or something and she had flashbacks. She comes across some guy who's the caretaker of the land who flashes her.

The husband ends up turning on her. I can't remember much else other than I think she gets drugged by the guy who flashed her.
