How do I get rid of these ad blocker icons on the upper right of google chrome and stop them from telling me an ad was blocked? They're becoming almost as obnoxious as the ads themselves.
>>
right click it and see the settings option. theres a checkbox where you can check if you want to see the numbers or not

Thanks Anon. It still pops up telling me whenever an ad was blocked, but I guess there's not much I can do about that, right?
>>
>>14115209
can you upload a screenshot. its been a while since i havent used adblock. if youre interested in a better blocker get ublock origin. it block all ads and doesn't have whitelists like adblock.
>>
>>14115222
Well, it stopped, but now it's doing this. Google images have ads on every image now... This happened last time on my old computer too, because of Pirate Bay. I'm a noob, so... I'm just gonna stay away from Pirate Bay from now on. This is the second time. Should I just uninstall Google Chrome?
>>
>>14115235
its probably another chrome extension. go to chrome://extensions and check any extension that you havent installed but came with some shady setup
>>
>>14115238
No, still there. I tried uninstalling all of 'em. I'm just gonna switch. Seems like the easiest solution.
>>
>>14115245
check the chrome://extensions again though. you may have a virus which injects it whenever you remove it.
>>
>>14115245
ublock origin is better but if this comes from another extension it can't block your ads from there.
>>
>>14115254
This is all that's thereafter I removed the ad blockers, and sry. I suck ass at computers. How should I check for any viruses?
>>
>>14115276
seems clean. try ublock origin and if that doesn't fix your problem then download malwarebytes. easiest way is by this link :
https://ninite.com/malwarebytes/

then scan your computer for malware.

p.s. if you want to install any programs without the bloatware use that ninite site, its easier that way.

i'm going to sleep now have a nice day

Ok, thanks Anon

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
