The life you lived as a human, up to this very point, was a simulation designed to keep Daemons such as yourself alive between each trade route in the cosmos. You are not a slave, but you might as well be one.

You are a Daemon. You have no mind and you were bred to kill. Daemons are mindless soldiers who strikes fear in the heart(s) of every inhabitant among the numerous universes.

Daemons are not a race, but an army of many different species. Humans, Graymen, Anthropomorphic, etc.

Daemons are mindless due to their neuron-chip, which stops all process of information into the brain and makes whomever with the 'chip a semi-vegetable - no cognitive thinking but natural survival instincts..

You are being held in a huge ship called The Hamlet. Transport Bay 12, Hydro-Hallucinstasis Pod 47.

However, something's wrong. Very wrong. You are no longer being affected by the mind-numbing water

You are now Daemon 1247 and you are stuck in the Hydro-Hallucinstasis Pod.

You cannot see past the tinted face mask, which doesn't make a difference since you can't you see past the Pod's glass if you wanted to. Mask or not.

You are wearing nothing but underwear and a face mask that supplies dwindling oxygen. The mask's pressure on your face isn't holding, you can feel the cold water barely touching the edges of your face. Very soon you will have a oxygen facemask full of water and you will drown. Your oxygen facemask is connected to a tube that is latched onto the side of the pod; it is a one way vent, only air goes in.

Based on a rough estimate, you have twelve minutes before you either run out of oxygen or your mask gives way and you drown.
