in this quest two squads will be put up against eachother. whichever squad has the last man standing. you will be assigned to one of the 2 squads, sicle-moor and sovereign, at random after you set up your load out.

map
>rectangular blocks connected to walls are doors, you can use these as a flimsy cover or to slow down your foes. you can barricade these to make them stronger, however some one with a breaching ram can break this.
>light grey blocks are low cover points. these can be ducked behind and vaulted over. these don't make great cover, and if you duck behind one theres still a chance you might get shot
>dark grey blocks are high cover points, these can be ducked behind but not vaulted over. these are incredibly effective cover points, and you are unlikely to be shot when ducking behind one of these
>to lines extending out of the wall is an archway, these give close to no cover and are basically worthless

you create your load out by purchasing items. you can't go all out on gear because sadly you only have 400 points to spend.

so basically this is going to be turn based strategy-ish. a player moves to a space on a grid, they can fire they're gun or use theire item while in that space, yadda yadda. this quest kind of relies on every one replying. once every ones dictated there mve, then everybody makes there move, until eventually we have one team left.

ok I decided that

A. I made the map too big, so heres a nu one.

second I'm change every ones colour to be more consistent with teams.

sicle-moor is red, pink and purple
sovereign is orange, yellow and green

also here are some ground rules

1. only move 3 spaces a turn. taking cover does not count, vaulting over cover does.
2. you can only use one item a turn. shooting your gun counts as using an item. so does setting up a baricade, breaching a door with a ram or planting bomb/tossing an explosive.
3. freindly fire is off.
4. your shots have a hit chance depending on circumstances. for example, an orbit at 10 steps is very likely to hit, however a rattlesnake at 10 steps is not.
5. shooting is a seperate acotin to moving.
6. you can run and shoot at the same time, but unless you have a von draco or a ratlesnake its a very bad idea

step 1. this is the most important lesson: how to correctly use the dead mans trigger.

this here i jarrad, he knows how to use the dead mans trigger without maing it a meme. he uses the von draco and the number 9, because those are effective weapons at close range, and will syndetifse well with the dead mans trigger. he does not rely on the dead mans trigger and simply accepts that he is likely to die near his enemies.

this is bert. he doesn't use the dead mans trigger, because he knows he shouldn't. he uses the orbit and the silvershark. he understands that these are long range weapons and that he is unlikely to die near multiple enemies.

this is ron. he does NOT know how to use the dead mans trigger. he has given himself 350 cherry bombs and too dead mans ringers. his stratergy is to run at the enemy flinging cherry bombs every where while screaming "allah ackbar". this will not work, as cherry bombs are equivelent to a firecracker. if your going to do this, atleast use frages

This is paul, he buys A sabre, 36 knives and a roll of ductape. He spends his first turn strapping combat knives around his body (groin) and then plans to wait around a corner so he can give his enemies stabby hugs.

This is James, he buys and handful of shuriken and Everything else is caltrops. He ends up with 70 of the bastards and blocks every doorway he can, making the game take years before every just decides to ragequit.

This is Al. He buys two goddamn briefcase bombs and spawns (luckily) near the bottom. He slaps one on the wall near OP and on the next turn blows the wall to smithereens, causing chunks of crap to fly everywhere. He leans in, and sees a startled OP look at him with surprise and shock. He primes the other briefcase and chucks the sucker in the hole and walks away.

OP is kill. For next time, i recommend a much different, more open battlefield such as a somewhat or entirely outdoor area, but with means to take cover. This narrow corridor fighting has been mostly a stalemate, especially since there is a clear 'one way in' type deal going on, it doesn't leave the players much to work with.

That said, this has potential, it was fun while it lasted and i look forward to the next run.

(Also, if OP willed it, we could have alt/co-runners so that other people could try there hand at a scenario. And for later, should we try and define the loadout list or maybe add some things? I wouldn't be adverse to evolving the game to make it even more entertaining, especially if this carries on for a while which i hope it does.)
