Though you have never been to the city, the stout bearded citizens of the city are welcoming and helpful. One hands you a small map, clearly meant for foreigners, with labels in the common tongue.
After a few minutes of walking, you meet with the Clerk of the Square, who is packing up his belongings after the market day. His great silk robes and tall hat stand out against the barren cobblestone square
You approach him, and ask about a stall. He is reluctant to unpack his ledgers, but after a small bribe of fresh leichfruit he tells you he will make the transaction.

You rent a stall in the center of the market, and carefully arrange your best fruit for display. The rest you have in 6 wicket barrels, each carrying 50 leichfruit.

You sleep among your wares, on a simple bedroll. You fall asleep quickly and dream of the strange people you might meet in the market square the following morning.

Waking to the sound of a donkey braying with effort as it drags a huge assortment of statues by your stall, you eagerly await your first customers.

In the morning, you get one trade offer.
