Short recap:
Will woke up in a grave, dug his way out of it. strolled around, took up the lampligther class, piled some boxes, talked to the trash keeper, spoke with the man at the toll booth, who was very rude and would not let him pass without a passport.
Ran into a troll and is now standing before a old abandoned cabin.
>>What does he do?
>>793914
Gotta take a look inside the cabin, of course!
>>793936
>>793922
Sadly, the door is nailed shut with very strong looking wodden boards.
>>793943
Go around back
>>793943
Or look through the mousehole in the lower right!
>>793945
There seems to be only blank wall on the other side of the house.
>>793952
Trough the mousehole Will sees a foremost a lot of dust.
Then theres a old broken bed in the corner, a big ashy oven and a bucket right before it.
>>794014
What about the rabbit hole near the front?
>>794024
That is not a rabid hole.
There is a curve after a couple meters down and Will can see a light coming from the bend part.
>>794052
We can't use our lamp post to pry open those doors, could we? Try it Will!
>>794062
Why not
>>794062
>>794069
It did work!
Kinda...
Sadly, now Wills Lamp is broken in two.
"Hey, I really liked that lamp", he says.
>>794114
RIP, time to enter
>>794114
Cabins have lamps. We got the door open. Go and find a new lamp!
>>794114
>>794125
>>794130
There seems to be no lamp in the room. Just a lot of dust and cobwebs.
>>794157
Grab bucket. It can be a helmet if needed.
>>794157
What's the red thing
>>794157
Inspect the red object
>>794165
Will puts the bucket in his inventory.
>>794170
The red thing seems to be a little shiny red crystal.
>>794211
Take it and look at the weird bug thing
>>794211
Taaaaaaake it. We need to fill our inventory!
Check out those book to make sure they don't have anything useful
>knowledge
I said useful!
>>794227
He takes the crystal and steps up to the thing mounted on the wall.
The crosspart is made of wood, the round thing out of metal and the horns shine pearly white.
"I don't know what it is. Maybe some sort of sculptur?"
>>794270
Rip that shit off the walls and leave
>>794270
Try combining it with the ruby
>>794285
"Mhm. Nothings happening."
>>794306
The books now! We need to check them out.
>>794368
There are three books on the oven.
From left to right they are titled:
1. Adventure Guide
2. Trash-Islands Number and Math
3. Living with Lamas.
"What do you want to look at first?", says Will.
>>794396
>we're actually gonna read
1st one
>>794400
Will opens the first one, named "Adventure Guide".
...
Well, that was dissapointing.
>>794431
Now to book number twooooo!
>>794445
The book is as boring as Will thought it would be.
The only interesting thing is the name of the Author:
"Jevlar S. Marvans"
>>794492
Welp, onto the last one
>>794592
Very intriguing premise, well elaborated characters and a really suprising and deep ending.
The whole story spiked with little innuendos to the current political and economical situation.
Will would give it 8 out of 10 stars.
>>794616
Pocket the sculpture with the ruby and leave
>>794616
Check the fireplace!
>>794628
Oh yeah, forgot about that
>>794628
From deep within the old fireplace, Will produces a slightly burned and crumbled up paper.
>>794662
uncrumple and read
>>794690
Panic
Get out of the hoouuuuse!
>>794700
>>794701
"Should I really keep that cross thing?", Will says jittery.
>>794721
yesss
north above the field of flowers?
>>794721
Maybe someone on the island will know what it is!
>>794728
"I am pretty sure that is the direction of the toll booth. If I would go that way, I would just end up there.", Will says.
>>794745
Can we use anything as a weapon?
>>794745
Let's go that way then!
>>794759
After a couple minutes of walking trough the forest, Will arrives at the path, that he follows till he reaches the toll booth.
Everything is as you left it. The guard is still buys with his papers. It seems he didn't even as much as flinch since you left him.
>>794755
Currently, nothing in Will's Inventory is suitable as a weapon.
>>794794
I dont think we can do anything here, maybe to the bridge troll? try to find a different way off the road
>>794794
Shoot, maybe we can use the ruby to pay the toll for one of the bridges?
>>794808
Will tries to bribe the toll guard with the ruby.
"Sorry, I only take solid coin.", he replies.
>>794852
Then maybe the troll would be more accepting of it. Tell the guard we love him before going.
>>794864
"I love you", Will says, half reluctantly.
"What?", the guard raises one brow.
"Nothing..:"
Will feels stupid for saying that.
Some times passes and he arrives at the bridge. He is slightly worried and the troll is nowhere to be seen.
>>794908
Go on the bride, have the ruby ready!
>>794917
"Hello again human", says the troll.
"Do you have my toll?"
Instead of speaking, Will holds out the red Crystal.
"Ohhh. Thatsss a very nize gemztone you have there." The trolls eyes glitter with avarice. Little drops of saliva drip from his mouth.
"Would that perhaps be my toll?"
>>794908
Wait, sneak across.
>>794954
Yeah sure why not. make sure when we come back we can clobber this fuckface
>>794963
Will nods, and immediately the troll snatches the gem out of his hand.
He then takes a big leap of the bridge and into the murky water.
Will takes a few steps forward, unsure of the situation. He then takes a glance at the shadow now behind him.
From beneath the bridge, he can hear loud, sickening eating noises.
...
You just feed the troll.
>>794999
Fuck. Oh well, time to go on.
>>794999
Damn. We can only hope that what is on the otherside is worth it
>>795005
>>795016
After some time, the path loses its shape and dissapears eventually.
Will fights his way trough the forest, till he reaches a wide ravine.
Someone laid a thin wooden board over it.
>>795045
I believe in our ability to cross this.
>>795045
oh for fucks sakes
Cross it, careful
>>795053
>>795049
Will beginns to walk the plank, not even thinking of looking for a way around the ravine.
Stretching his arms out to either side, he slowly goes forward.
The ravine is really deep!
His movements are slightly shaky, but he arrives safely at the other end.
>>795072
Good job Will, we got no time for this shit
Onward!
>>795082
Will reaches, what is probably the north-east end of trash-island.
Before him in the distant lie a couple round rocks. A flag is sticking out between one at the top.
The writing seems to be on the other side.
>>795109
Read it!
>>795112
Will steps closer to the rocks. They look very well rounded and he has to think for a second how to get up there.
"Is it just me or is the ground shaking a bit?", he says contemplatively.
>>795136
Is that a dude
...Duck?
>>795145
The giant opens its eyes.
Will... ducks?
>>795185
Say hi
I'm at a complete loss here
>>795200
"Hello good... sir? Fine... evening?"
"Greetings... Man..., Why... disturb... sleep...?", the giant says in a very monoton and slow intonation.
>>795238
Ask if he's seen a guy passing around, or if knows a way to the main island(was it?) without passing through the toll bridge. Or any locations of interest.
>>795255
"Could you tell me if seen someone stroll by recently? Someone with a shovel perhaps?"
"Me... sleep... me... seeing... nothing..."
"Is there like anything interessting you can tell me?"
"Me... Makos... Me... Giant... very... tired..."
"I meant like, are there any places you would recommend for visiting?"
"Last... walk... eons... ago... don't... remember..."
Every word takes ages to come out of the giants mouth.
>>795300
Ask if you can take a look at the flag in his ear!
>>795368
"Look... yes... take... no... feels... good...", mumbles the rock man.
Will carefully climbs up the side of the stone giant and turns the flag around
Read Will! We know you can
>>795431
Will shrugs.
Those are just two lines.
There is nothing more on the flag.
>>795472
Well shoot. Take the flag with us at least, outta the giant's ear.
>>795478
As Will grabs the flag, the giant begins rumbling again.
"NO... not... take... let... be...!", he says desperate.
>>795499
Oh wait, I'm an asshole and misread.
Apologize right away and step off him!
>>795506
"Oh, I am sorry, I must have misheard you. I apologize for trying to take the flag."
Will climbs down while the giant speaks:
"Is... ok... understand... me... slow... speaker... accidents... happen..."
>>795520
Thank him for being nice and ask if there's anything he needs from us! Maybe show him that weird cross thing and see if he knows what it is
>>795527
"Thanks for understanding.
Just one question.
Do you maybe know what that is?"
Will holds up the cross figure.
The Giant lowers is sight and, as it reaches the sculpture, shivers slightly.
"Horned... One... Symbol... bad... not... involve..."
"Do you know anything about him?"
"God... deep... earth... waiting... no... more..."
Will shoves the thing back in his inventory.
"I am sorry if I upset you again. Will not happen anymore.
And if you need anything, just ask and I try to help."
"No... need... only... sleep..."
>>795602
Interesting, interesting. Best to let him slumber for now. Let's go throw that dead fish into the troll's lake.
>>795685
Will goes back to the bridge.
The chrunching has stopped and an eery silence hangs in the air.
Carefully he drops the dead fish into the river water.
It wiggles a little bit and then gets drawn away by the current.
>>795705
go back to the ravine and walk around
>>795734
Will takes a short stroll around the ravine.
"That was refreshing", he says.
>>795753
Anything to the left at all?
>>795764
"I could always just walk into the forest", says Will, not entirely confident with his own suggestion.
>>795787
You is smart -kinda-, and you is brave -sorta-. Just take a quick peek!
>>795795
Spurred on by your compliments, Will decides to risk it and goes straight for the forest line.
The trees stand thick and ever so often the man has to take a slight detour from his path just to find himself an opening trough the undergrowth.
But the effort seems to be worth it, because after a little while Will steps out on a small clearing. A natural clearing in the forest.
>>795821
Look down the well
Ok Guys, time to stop again.
Got the same amount of posts like last time and its a good place to make a break.
I will continue next weekend, saturday or friday, maybe a little earlier.
Hoped you had at least some sort of fun.
>>795836
Thanks for running
>>795836
Thanks OP!
