Travelers on the road to the west, be warned of the Muerte Roja gang who have taken over Goodsprings. This is an official bounty placed on the head of each gang member killed on site, with an added bonus for any brought back alive. The bounty office will not reimburse proprietors of any damage done to their establishments, so anyone who partakes in this bounty will have to clean up their own mess. Aim true, good travelers.

leaves you exposed only when you're not behind it. As an indicator for if you're taking cover or not would be the gun held vertically instead of horizontally, and your character would be facing away from the cover itself.

You can also spend an action to make or move cover too. Moving cover is limited to one space but it keeps you behind the cover and allows you to change it's facing as well. You also move with it, if that wasn't clarified.

You can tap your own kills to just mortally wound instead of instantly kill. Lasso is a range 2 bind which prevents the character from acting during their phase. You then spend another action to pull them towards you and the enemy gets arrested with a third. If another Clement has already Lasso'd a criminal or bounty target you can move to their target and arrest them with an action. Saves time in exchange for effort.

So since 2-handing grants +2 Atk and +2 Dam, it's a 6 Dam weapon? If so, that's an interesting choice to split up the bonuses that way. Implies benefits for a high Atk stat or situations that mess with weapon math down the line.

Muerte Jefe has offered a deal and a challenge to a duel.

Taking the deal will result in not collecting on his bounty. However only one person may accept the duel challenge. If you want to accept the challenge, roll 2d6 and whoever is highest will face Muerte Jefe in the time-honored tradition which is a duel.

Duels function as follows: Each participant states how much gold or bullets they will 'bet' on the duel. Betting Gold gives you a +1 and spending bullets gives your opponent -1. Both participants post this before the dice are rolled. 2d6 are rolled, with the first die representing the one who issued the challenge and the second die representing the one who accepted the challenge. Gold and bullets are spent on the results, and whoever has the higher total is the victor of the match, gains all Gold placed in the bets, and also a Notch on their belt. Notches give a passive +1 bonus to the one who earned it whenever they roll a dice for a duel. Notches are also a sign of honor and skill.

Otherwise you can accept his deal and nobody dies.
