Hm. QR's a quote from an article by Nick Bostrom, and a string of characters I dunno what to do with.

Filename "ayliacs" turns up on a site called trip table, and supposedly corresponds to 79hz0BmtZc. Asian site, dunno if it applies here. Testing it now

whoops

Well, look at that. Dunno how that helps if at all. I'll try using the site as a reference, but I'm not expecting much.
>>
Well, what if I put the string as a trip?
>>
>>740228
Maybe use two hashes
>>
>>740294
Come to think of it I could do that myself

It seems we are not very savvy fellows.

Post the quote? I don't know anything about Nick Bostrom, but apparently he's a philosopher who's known for writing about the Singularity.

From the Simulation Argument:

>If there were a substantial chance that our civilization will ever get to the posthuman stage and run many ancestor-simulations, then how come you are not living in such a simulation?

There's some reasoning going on in that essay, much of it very odd to follow.

Tried hex to ASCII, got this:
# ÷@Å=Ócà#‡¥æ5

Between the hash and division sign is a the hex for "soft hyphen", whose function I've looked up and don't understand. After the division sign is the "end transmit block" command, and before the yen sign is "device control 3", usually a command to turn one off. Possible dead end.

Maybe there's some significance to the string being 32 characters long.
