The year is 2175
Civilization collapsed a long time ago. Noone knows who shot first. Here you are, having survived to your current age in the hell.
You come up to what used to be a city, long ago. You need supplies, food, water, anything to get you by.
Untold dangers await, what do you do?
RULES:
Food + Water: roll 1d6 as your starting amount. The result is how many days worth you have. Rolling a 1 is just enough to get through the current day.
Weapons: Roll 1d6
1- Unarmed
2- Basic hand weapon (hammer, screwdriver, kitchen knife, tire iron, etc)
3- Good hand weapon (sledge hammer, sword, barbed wire bat)
4- Hand gun, basic
5- Better gun (rifle, shotgun, semi-auti weapon)
6- Any combination of 2 of the previous 5
Ammo- Roll 2d20, that's how many rounds you have for your current gun. If you dont have a gun, its your choice of kind.
Encounters will be determined be settled by the a d6 roll.
You will gain extra die as you get better at certain skills.
When you roll multiple, you choose which one to use.
At the end of each day, you will have the option to gain a die in a skill you successfully used.
Damage is generalized as mild -severe. Too much damage and youre dead.

Is that six days of food?
We could ration that to one food every other day and get about 2 weeks worth of rationing.
The 2 days of water could be rationed to 4 days, or one water every other day.
