Search for a light

You stiffly make your way out of the crate you were in, your head and shoulders screaming in pain. As you stand, you lose your footing, the feeling of moving growing stronger. As your eyes adjust to the darkness, you make your way towards the wall, fumbling over a few other crates. Your hands snake their way against the wall until the reach what feels to be a switch. You turn it on and a blinding light assaults your vision. As your eyes adjust to the light, you take in your surroundings. There are more than 5 dozen crates in the small room and a window on the far side of the wall.

Quests are usually pretty slow the first thread.
They're also usually slow the first couple posts.
They're also slower when it's late 4chan time. So just a heads up, 10 minutes isn't a whole lot.

You make your way to the other side of the room, careful not to trip on any more of the crates. Some have "fragile" plastered in the side in big red letters, the crate you were in as well.
As you reach the other wall, a small circular window comes into vision. As you look out of the window, you figure out what the moving feeling was. A dark expanse of ocean is splayed out in front of you, the dark sky dotted with stars.
You are on a boat.

You step back from the window, taking it in. An uneasy feeling washes over you as you ask yourself how you got here and why someone would want to take you. This doesn't last long as your eyes travel to the many crates splayed against the wall. You search the crates closest to you, finding mostly food products and toiletries, when a sound catches your attention. A small crate lay closer to the door, the top unevenly laying. As you move the top, a figure jumps out at you, knocking you to the ground.
A black cats stands ontop of your chest and meows loudly, gently pawing your face. It hops down and licks your hand once before bounding out of the cracked door.
You sit, bewildered.

You push yourself up from the floor and decide you need to find out where that cat had gone. As you make your way to the door, you peak out into the hall. It's dimly lit and seems to be a very long corridor. As you step outside you turn the light off in the crate room. Looking around, you don't see any evidence of where the cat had gone. To the left, there are stairs at the end of the hall and two other rooms. To your right, there is a door at the end of the hall and two other rooms.

You turn towards the right, noticing how quiet it is. When you step up to the door, you notice it's already open a crack. The cat must've gone this way.
As you step through the door, you're met with more stairs on the left and 3 doors scattering this hall. There is a door on the end and from where you're standing you can see movement on the other side. You can also see the door is opened a small crack.

The movement behind the door is too much to ignore, so you decide to peak through the window. As you make your way to the door, you hear yelling, and when you peak through the window, you see 2 men and 1 woman chasing the black cat.
"GET IT BEFORE IT RUNS AWAY!"
"I'M TRYING!"
"TRY HARDER!"
Needless to say, the cat is quick and agile, often causing the two men that are chasing it to run into things, knocking them down. The woman looks on with an annoyed face. She is brunette, her hair pulled back into a long braid. Her eyes are a bright icy blue, her skin a deep tan.
The shorter man has shaggy brown hair and dark eyes, while the taller one has black, curly hair and dark eyes. The shorter one is very pale, while the taller one has a very deep, dark skintone.
The room is medium-sized and one wall has a bunch of controls on it, as well as a large screen. It confuses you because you've never seen technology such as this.
