You travel to Mido. Upon arriving you're surprised to see that their are only 4 mercenaries, however each are of high caliber like yourself.
After much discussion and duels it is determined that you are the third strongest, but the most tactical so you are made the leader.
Once you 5 successfully invade and stabilize substantial territory, you and your allies agree to split up the country into 5 respective territories.
The first step of the plan is to liberate a prison in rebellion territory to recruit a make shift army. Your team sets sail and your conquest begins.

Determined the strongest in the series of duels and wants his own country for unknown reasons. He is one of the top assassins in Mido and only a few know of him. Also occasionally lazy.

You've arrived at the prison which contains Virid kingdom soldiers, and ironically rebels rebelling against the Virid Rebellion from within. Upon scouting the area, the prison is divided into two towers. One is guarded by archers and knights, the other is guarded by Pegasus knights.

The assault is currently successful. However a Pegasus knight is fleeing to warn the other tower. Weiss is outnumbered and taking heavy damage from surrounding enemies. Jiro and Flora are too far away and occupied fighting. You are also far away but Sayo is closet to Weiss and the Pegasus knights

Fortunately Weiss was able to survive the enemies. However he can no longer fight for the remaining chapter. One more near death experience will most likely kill Weiss. The discrete capture of the first tower was a success, unfortunately only a dozen prisoners join your cause.

The capture of the last tower is a complete victory, and you are able to recruit 500 prisoners to your cause. You new army gathers all the supplies from the prison and sail to Virida. While on the boat you have some down time to talk

Sayo: Look, don't brag unless you live up to what you say. Remember the multiple duels between the five of us? More specifically the first duel which was ours?

Saya: You're too weak. Don't waste our time in this quest. Here, this is a book I found, it's about fighting techniques that I think suits you.

Weiss: Being weak isn't supposed to be my shtick, there's more depth to me you know.

You've arrived at Luster fields. A vast field of farms, mills, and forges run by slaves and Rebellion soldiers. It is one of the territories that produces the rebellions food supply and Armour. The land is managed by rebellion commander known as the Baron. The Barron is stationed in a fortress in the center of the work fields. Soldiers are scattered everywhere.

... You, Flora and Sayo are able to infiltrate the fortress and get close to the Barron. However you did not anticipate his overpowered butler Jeremy to intervene. Fortress bodyguards are approaching now.

After some persuasion Jeremy joins you. Although instead of capturing the Baron he proceeds to demolish the fortress bodyguards since he was itching for a fight. The Baron captured, the rest of the soldiers surrender, and Luster fields is now your territory. 200 freed slaves decide to join your army. Sadly, while you were infiltrating, Jiro gave a speech to the army about how your not the kind of person to cause unnecessary casualties. Jiro did not anticipate Jeremy the Rampaging to attack the entire fortress staff. Because of this, some of the men lose respect towards your group and 300 recruits sign out of your army. And Jeremy recieved some fatal injuries from his onslaught so he won't be available for around 3 chapters.

With 400 men left, you leave 200 to guard Luster fields and proceed through Virid. During your travel find a master Seal.

After a brief argument Sayo is promoted to Sage. They then head to the dire canyons to sieze the colossal Virid castle. The Rebellion has become aware of your forces and has planted an army of approximately 800 men. You notice their are large rock pillars that would greatly damage the castle and your own vicinity should they be attacked with great force.

If it makes you feel any better. Its definetly a hell of a lot better than the other 3 fire emblem quests made by those two co-QMs

After freeing Virid rebel prisoners and slaves, people have started to call your army the Virid Liberation Mercenaries. You couldn't think of a better name so you stick with it. People were unsure what to think of your forces. On one hand you're fighting the chaotic Rebels and freeing those forced to serve them. But on the other you're taking land that the Kingdom is trying to reclaim.

So far you have managed to lead your men to hold their ground and slowly capture more territory.

One day a lone archer named Rachel escorted by great knights entered camp, claiming to be of royal heritage and demands to speak with you.

Rachel: I presume you are Liberation Marco.
Marco: Maybe you have the wrong person, Liberation sounds too stupid to be my first name.
Rachel: Bah, you know what I mean. And you are aware that I am princess of Virid, am I correct?
Marco: No
Rachel: Don't be coy with me. From what one of my commander's has told me, you rejected the offer to serve my people and instead chose to steal my kingdom's land!
Marco: That's the story.
Rachel: My kingdom is willing to overlook this if you assist us.
Marco:Okay, but only if I get to keep the land
Rachel: Why do you want this land so much!?

One of Rachel's escorts rushes back and says
"Your majesty, Rebel forces led by Ranon is approaching!"

Your army begins to defend your recently captured castle

From what you understand the incoming forces has over double your own forces. Rachel has informed you that she went past enemy lines to negotiate with you by using hidden tunnels. One of these tunnels can be used to attack the enemies from behind, but only if they're next to or within the castle

We'll pop out and turn their lives into one of those "run" Vines the kids seem to love so much.

You, Rachel, Flora, Weiss, and the rest of your soldiers are able to hold your ground for the first few minutes. Although you start to get pushed back and it's obvious a leader needs to lead the front line defense to buy more time. Additionally Rachel has an idea. She and your other archers get to the third floor indoor balcony, allowing them to have better range and give better support. Allowing Rachel to do this will be beneficiary, but make your defense even more vulnerable for a minute.

Weiss finds the strength to hold the line for a few more minutes, the soldiers follow in unison. This ends when Ranon bursts into the line and defeats Weiss with his Black axe.
Weiss: ...I really am weak...
Weiss has fallen, Ranon and his men rush towards you

He ignores you and performs a critical hit on you. Most of your health is gone. In the neck of time the other half of your army led by Sayo and Jiro flanks them from behind, your forces overwhelming the enemy. You're pulled back to safety by Flora. Ranon tries to use his war monk staff to heal his men, but too many are caught in the flank. Ranon has no choice but to retreat.

After the battle, Weiss and other fallen soldiers are buried close to the castle. All of you take time to pay your respects, and leave behind more of your men to guard the castle territory. Rachel agrees to what she calls a "temporary association of shared interests" which is her way of saying a temporary alliance. You and your fellow mercenaries travel through the tunnels to reconnaissance through rebellion ground. When they come across an ancient cave mural, Rachel explained it's meaning. When the kingdom of Virid was founded ten thousand years ago, a powerful dragon was born and scorched the entire kingdom. The dragon could not be killed and lived for a century. It is said that a wise sorcerer killed the beast by simultaneously blessing and cursing the dragon. In effect the beast gained even greater power, but the sheer amount of power caused the beast to die. After scouting for a day they return to the castle.
