This only slightly won out over mithril for me, Rogue warforged seems cool but so does Druid Warforged

The Iron wood version makes em think of pic related, plus I haven't seen a machine that works well with nature in any books i can remember, full tank would be fun too though, don't see too many of those in quests.

As if aware of it for the first time, you realize just how heavy the bindings are to keep you from breaking free... Admantine... One of the strongest known materials in all of ...Ebberron.

"CP 931, CP 956, and ML 358, assist me with AD198" snapped the human, and out of the corners of your eyes, three beings similar to you in overall shape, but with completely different plating from your own stepped forwards.

Whatever they were doing, the Warforged that looked like you knew how to do it quite efficiently, the one plated in mithril acting as an assistant, handing the artificer various instruments and strange... Components?

The other two stood by either side of you, their metal plated hands clamping about your shoulders. With a hiss, and a series of clicks, the clamps that had held you in place were released, and were it not for the two warforged holding you up, you would have fallen in a heap...

"Stand..." said the House Cannith Artificer, and again that persistent compulsion to obey rung within your mind....

Your feet clanged as they met the ground, almost cracking the stone tiles of the forge's floor... You glance to either side of you once more, now free from your bindings, and in the distance you think you see a light....

>"Hmmm... Hang on, let me access...." started the artificer, and with a brief lancet of pain, you felt something jab directly into the side of your body, piercing through cable bundles and bypassing your admantium plating...

You wanted to ask a score of questions to the artificer, with a score more questions as follow-up, but it seems it would have to wait... Both warforged had a firm grip on you and moved with a purpose, you stumbled on your first steps, but thankfully your dexterity was actually decent for the kind of warforged you were and you didn't fall over onto all the various ingots and scrapmetal scattered across the forge.

As the artificer and his assistant ML 358 moved on, you saw a series of chains clank overhead, moving a still red hot mold into place not far from where you had sat... Glancing over your shoulder, you saw the mold open, and from it stood another warforged, and further in the distance you saw the process being repeated many times over.... and looking left and right you saw others of your kind being escorted in a similar manner....

You were not comfortable with what was going on, if anything, despite your considerable armor and natural competence... you felt afraid.... you wanted to ask questions...

Should you:

Both seemed to take a moment to judge your question, before one spoke, not pausing as both Warforged continued to guide you.

>"It is best you remain Quiet, keep your voice down and queries to yourself whilst the humans are around.." said the other, CP956, who seemed far less robotic in his tone and demeanor

You passed by a long ways away, but the sheer number of bodies... There were hundreds just kept in plain sight... Oil... Leaking onto the floor whilst other grim faced warforged moved the bodies here and there... Artificers moved amongst them like... Carrion birds... picking up a hand, or a cranium, or a chasis before sparks and smoke rose from the part...

You recoiled at the sight, and as your 'guards' guided you down a set of stone stairs and past a few more workshops each with another artificer within, apparently tweaking on the designs of various warforged components.

The minutes passed, and the only constant was the sound of yours and your escorts armor plated feet clanking into the floor. A large set of letters on a brass plaque read "Stockade 4", chains and other discarded rubbish lining the vast cells on either side of the hallway. You passed by the fairly thick iron bars, though most were bent in places by what looked to be hands and fingers with a similar shape and structure to your own, some wide enough to admit an arm or a leg...

"These were the original stockades... One of six..." said CP956, finally speaking once more as the last artificer they had seen was busy muttering to himself and reading some kind of... manual...

"Ineffective... Many escapes...Many deaths..." came CP931, his eyes sweeping towards the dark gloom of the holding pens, "No escape.. Only service"

"931... let's not make AD198 any more agitated than he already is" said CP956, gesturing with an open three fingered hand to the far end of the hall where multiple hallways merged...

Other warforged could be seen in the distance, and a look over your shoulder shows another warforged of a similar make to you marching down the hall with two escorts...

Another minute, and you were at what appeared to be a vast stone vault, with a large number '13 before it. There was a revolving gate made of interlocking Steel bars, it seemed designed so that once one went in, there was no way back out...

"This will be your new home for now, please continue on through the gate and await further instructions." said CP956

And so with that question answered you moved on, the steel bars sliding and moving about you on clockwork gears, before you wound up on the other side. Your feet crunched down upon cracked tiles, there were many dents and many scrapes across the walls and on the floor.

Moving further into the Stockade, you passed by other warforged, some sitting at benches, others standing stock still and staring at the far wall... All looked for the most part forlorn, there was some light but it was provided only by a few flickering crystals set into the walls. Regardless it was vast, and there were perhaps 90... maybe 95 warforged here there and everywhere on the two levels, some in their own cells they had claimed.

Further in there was another set of doors, though it seemed they only opened from the other side. More warforged waited here than anywhere else, some in a more leisurely manner than others. The vast majority of those in the room were the Composite plated varieties, but there were at least two others of your plating type that you could see... A mithril plated one was currently clambering about a walkway that seemingly led to nowhwere above your head... how they got up there... perhaps they had another warforged boost them up...

>"Ah another Admantine, good good... We needed another" came a voice from behind you, and turning around you were met with another waforged

>"Who else am I going to use as cover?" asked the warforged, you thought it was a rhetorical question, and he let out a ....laugh

The warforged looked rather strange, for one he was clothed, wrapped in a gray and black cowl, and with... Weapons...Throwing sword/Dagger at his hip... Taking another look around, you noticed a large portion of the other warforged had their own weapon, even a Ironwood bodied one that seemed to carry around a stick as he walked about the expansive vault
