You begin to regain consciousness, and surprise surprise, you are in a jail cell. Once again, locked in a small room...
>>579995
Examine cell.
>>580171
You take in your surroundings, well, what you can at least, there's not really that much to take in.
There is a poster of Raquel Welch taped to the wall, and that mess in the corner seems to be some kind of bed substitute... With a large rock for a pillow. Classy.
Luckily, when you were locked up, none of your items were confiscated, due to them being stored in your inventory, rather than your physical person. +1 for obscure item storage.
>>580226
Take the poster off the wall.
>>580392
The thought suddenly hits you. You are pretty sure you have seen this poster somewhere before, serving a similar purpose, but this thought is quickly forgotten, as it is in no way important, and not worth time dedicated to thinking about it. So you stop thinking about it.
If the hours spent locked in your apartment have taught you anything, it's that posters like these usually hide some kind of secret which will move your current situation along in some way or another, and this time is no different. It seems that this poster was concealing a small window to the next cell. How continent, yet counter productive. I mean, why have a window, if it's just going to be covered up by a poster?!
>>580471
Look out window
>>580489
In the adjacent cell, you see a gruff looking fellow. A short fellow, yet gruff.
You know what, why don't we see what someone else does for a change. What does this guy decide to do?
(That's it for tonight, back tomorrow. I thought there would be more replies for me to draw.)
Post a command, will respond in the morning.
>>580583
Gruff guy: Check inventory
>>581754
This guy also seems keep his items in his inventory, smart guy. He has a handgun, and an exotic hat of some description.
>>583905
Welcome back OP
Gruff man pulls something out of his hat
>>583912
Thanks man.
It's all well and good telling this guy to do something, but he can only do that something, if that something is possible to execute. In this case, there is nothing in this hat, so you cannot pull anything from it. Oh well, would have been something useless, like a cryptic note, a rabbit or some kind of old key.
>>583917
Check own inventory. What did the cops steal from us?
>>583918
As was previously stated, none of your possessions were taken from you, as they were kept safe in your inventory, and NOT on your person within the physical plane in which you currently reside. However, for recap purposes, you empty you inventory onto the floor to manage it better.
You have:
Your Mobile Phone
A random key, the purpose of which you do not yet know.
A pocket knife
A liquid container, the liquid within is still not known either.
>>583922
Wrap it all into your blanket and make it into one inventory slot.
>>583923
Cheating the system, I like it. Doing this allows you to carry more, but prevents quick access, if you want to access any of the items stored in this bundle, you will need a moment to move things around.
This is all well and good, but this isn't really doing anything for you, you are still locked in this cell, and you're no closer to escaping.
>>583926
Gruff guy opens the cabinet in his cell.
>>583928
A lamp falls out of the cabinet. It's purple, with a gold star painted on the front. The lamp needs a power source.
>>583931
Ask who gruff guy is. And where did he get that sweet hat and lamp?
Also lamp goes into Gruff inventory
>>583933
Looking through the bar, you ask him who he is, and where he got the lamp and hat from. He tells you he was known as the Horse Man, and he found the lamp in his cell. He stays silent about the hat, telling you he'd rather not get into it.
He also adds the lamp to his inventory.
>>583940
Ask Horse Man if he knows if there is a way out. Maybe also ask about his crime.
>>583942
What?! Of course he doesn't know how to get out of here! If he did, he'd be long gone. In response to the question about the crime that got him put here, he tells you he is a very high ranking member of a curtain crime organisation that he did not specify.
He is giving you very closed answers, as if he doesn't want to be talking about it.
>>583947
"Hey, don't judge. It could have been one of those things that takes two people to complete. Don't be a dick. Tryin' ta help!"
Look on back of poster. Maybe there is a phone number or something.
>>583949
There is probably something on the back- wait what?! There's nothing useful on here! Just a drawing of a pig!
>>583954
>Wrong image
>>583955
I was gonna say...
Slide poster under your cell door. "Hey cop, bitches! This is what I think of you!"
>>583957
Just as a guard is walking past you slip the drawing under the door, yelling at him, informing him that is swine!
(Part 1 of 2)
>>583963
Well... We wont be doing that any time soon...
He's given you quite the shiner.
>>583967
Awe... I was hoping Gruff guy would shoot him thru the window when the cop entered his room...
Smash rock against the metal bars
>>583969
You go to vent some anger by attempting to smash the bars separating you and the Horse Man, you rage subsides rather quickly when moving the rock reveals a power outlet.
>>583972
"Sweet an outlet. Yo. Horse Man!"
Smash bars with rock anyway. You need to fit that lamp somehow.
>>583973
You attempt to bring the thunder on these bars, but the hold fast. You win this round, metal bars!
>>583978
Grr... this is tough.
Retrieve cellphone and check for clues and texts.
Keep it separate from bedsheet inventory
>>583980
You separate your phone from the bundle of items. Checking your phone turns up nothing unfortunately. It's pretty new, there's not much on it, and the only numbers saved where the ones found in the apartment, which would be of no help here.
This is quite the predicament. It's almost as if they didn't want you to escape.
>>583987
Call mom. Inform her gram died.
>>583989
You decide that you should probably call your mom and tell her that Gram died! She responds, telling you that she knows, and that she died about 2 weeks ago. She ain't too happy that you didn't go to the funeral.
Wait what?! 2 weeks?! Didn't you just get locked up about an hour ago!?!
>>584003
Tell her that i am in prison. They wont tell me what the charge is. One of them made my eye blue.
>>584009
You tell her that you are in prison, but she straight up doesn't care, as long as you aren't living with her, so she hangs up.
We do however know the charges, we were locked up for the misuse of the emergency help lines earlier in the apartment, or, two weeks ago should I say.
>>584019
Man, those trolls really wanna derail quests that bad, huh?
Fine. We waited two weeks. We can wait another few months.
Stay our sentence. Or wait for trial, whatever.
>>584025
You are not about to just sit here for however long they want to keep you locked up, we need to escape now!
>The most recent thing we remember is waking up in this cell, 2 weeks after the events that took place in the apartment. We haven't been waiting. What took place during those two weeks however is unknown
>>584031
We have a knife with nothing to cut.
We have a key with no keyholes.
We have a phone with no apps and useless numbers.
We have a bottle of mystery liquid that might be poisonous.
We have a bedsheet to hold stuff.
We have a neighbor, Horse Man.
Horse man does not want to talk.
He has a Hat that he does not talk about.
He has a gun, which he failed to use.
He has a lamp, no power to it.
Our side has a socket, but no way to fit a lamp.
Sniff mystery liquid. What might it be?
>>584038
You take out the bottle and crack it open. It emits a powerful aroma. You'd know this smell anywhere, it's liquid stunt. Liquid stunt is a powerful liquid that increases ones magical properties, but if someone where to drink it without possessing the ability to use magic, it will have no effect, probably best if you save this for later.
>>584057
Repack into bedsheet.
Horse Man makes a racket this time. Slam and hit the doors. Calling them pigs. If they enter, shoot the fuckers!
>>584067
You lure one of the unsuspecting guards into your cell, then blast him, right between the eyes!
Unfortunately, his body falls back, slamming the door shut and locking it.
>>584104
Steal and wear sunglasses. Check body for anything useful.
>>584107
You steal the snazzy sunglasses. You look so fly, right now, there is no way you could top this.
The dead cop has a ring of keys on him, and a small note.
>>584125
Give note to neighbor, keep keys.
Move body from door.
>>584126
You slip the paper note through the bars into cell 16. You also move the body away from the door. It's rather heavy, and kinda messy.
>>584142
Steal hat and badge too. Cuz why not?
Our "hero" reads the note.
>>584145
You are really getting into the part, had you not been so short, you could have been mistaken for a real cop!
(Part 1 of 2)
>>584196
Meanwhile, our "hero" reads the note. The note reads:
"Move Horseman from cell 16 into cell 15. -Warden"
We should probably name this guy, now that there are more people to account for. What is his name?
>>584210
"Hiro" should suffice.
Look on opposite wall. Is there anything the camera is not showing?
Horse Man leaves the cell.
>>584216
From this day fourth, you will be known as "Hiro."
(Part 1 of 3)
>Please keep it to a single command per reply, it just makes it easier to respond.
>>584249
There isn't much over this side of the cell, just another window.
(Part 2 of 3)
>>584249
Sorry. Thought it would speed us up since the board is dead. My bad.
>>584261
Is fine, don't worry about it
>>584260
Horseman would leave, but there is no keyhole on this side of the door! What's worse, is that Horseman is to short to reach through the peep hole and unlock the door from the other side!
>>584274
Horse Man pushes cabinet to boost himself and unlock door.
>>584281
Pushing the cabinet up to the door allows him to slide his arm through the gap, but its not long enough to reach down to the key hole!
>>584291
Investigate hole in floor.
>>584308
This hole is rather dark... And foreboding... And confusing. Why is this in a cell? It lead anywhere, it could be extremely dangerous
or something. How deep could this thing even be?
>>584339
Push body into it
>>584344
You push the body over to the hole in the corner of the room. There is blood everywhere, and it's kind of disgusting. The body only falls for about half a second and lands with a squelching crack. Ew.
>>584362
Hiro investigates the other window.
>>584367
Expecting to see another cell mate was expected, someone who would have a random collection of items that would help towards the common goal of escaping. No such luck, an empty cell lays on the other side of the window, with nothing but an extension cable. The things you would do to get your grubby mits on that extension cable.
>>584394
And... he was supposed to be moved... dammit.
Smash THESE bars with the rock
>>584401
The rock flies through the bars. Curse these butter fingers of yours!
>>584419
Crawl thru the window
>>584430
Your fat head will not fit through! The broken bars also have made the window rather threatening to traverse, they are all point and sharp. You can now pass objects through this window. Right now, this isn't really that helpful.
Horse Man goes down the hole.
>>584458
You drop down the hole to find a large hole in the ground. There is no foreseeable way to cross it. There's an old, bearded man on the other side.
(That's it for now, will be back in a few hours, post the command, and I'll respond when I get back. Thanks for being the only on in this thread, and do this all day.)
>>584576
Day off. Nothing to do but videogames.
You are doing me a favor.
"Hey! Old man! Know how i can get across? I sure as shit cant go back up!"
>>584576
He yells back that he unfortunately does not and that the door over on his side is locked. He thinks he has been stuck on that ledge for a few days now, but who knows? There's no way to measure the passage of time right now.
He also tells you what he has on him. The old man has:
A hack-saw
A hook on a rope
A brick
A package
None of this stuff is of any use to him. He says that you can have it, should you need it.
>>585068
Tell him to open the package.
>>585094
The old man struggles with the package, failing to find a way to open it.
(Part 1 of 2)
>>585094
The old bloke give up after an impressive 3.921 seconds of trying to open it, assigning you the task of opening the cardboard package. He throws the package, along with all the other items in your inventory across the pit. Of course, not all of the cargo reaches it's intended destination, as the packages falls short, falling into the blackness below.
>>585169
Horse man: Climb back up to your cell using the rope.
>>585176
You had to drop the ring of keys to make room for the hook on a rope. It's not victory without sacrifices.
(Part 1 of 2)
>>585245
Back in the cell.
>>585245
>Keys are there on the ledge, not down the pit, just to avoid any confusion
>>585272
Wait, do we not have the hack saw in our inventory? Go back down and get it.
>>585441
You got the hacksaw!
>>585455
Slide the hacksaw against the door of the cell, to get the attention of a guard. Once a guard approaches, if they come inside, shoot them. If they just look through, hit their head with the hacksaw, and try to keep it lodged there, in hopes more guards can come along to kill.
>>585578
You incredibly short stature prevents you from seeing through the little window. Regardless you try to make some noise.
Several minutes go past, and nothing. The only guard working in this wing is dead, and down a deep dark hole, that will probably never be seen again...
>>585623
Saw off the bars in the window to Hiro's cell.
>>585644
These bars don't stand a chance against the mighty power of a hacksaw! The bars fall to the floor with a satisfying metal clanking sound.
Items can now be passed through this window.
>>585711
Slide the lamp over to Hiro. In addition, give Hiro all the broken bars. Stick the bars into the socket, and use them as a make shift wire for the lamp, whilst also touching one bar. Once electrocuting ourselves, drink a small bit of liquid stunt, and see if our electrocution has given us magical powers yet.
>>585711

Once electrocuting ourselves, drink a small bit of liquid stunt, and see if our electrocution has given us magical powers yet.
>>585740
But the lamp already has a wire...
You decide to take the bars anyway.
>Please try and keep the commands short, makes it easier to reply with a single image.
>>585788
>Forgot image
>>585791
>Can do
Poke the socket with a bar to see if it works first.
>>585791
>Can do
Poke the socket with a bar or two to see if it works first.
>>585845
That is a terrible idea, even at the worst of times! Why not just plug the lamp in to see if it works?
>>585872
Finally get around to plugging the lamp in. Also, give a metal bar to Horseman as a melee weapon.
>>585889
You are pretty sure you can spare one of these bars, so you give one to Horseman. Well, you dropped it through the window at least.
For some reason, powering this lamp was near the top of your priorities, along with escaping and grabbing the extension cable. You are glad you went through with it, because the light from the lamp reveals a hidden door!
>That's enough for tonight, will be back tomorrow, post the command, and I will respond in the morning. I probably wont have as much time to respond as I did today. Thanks
>>585984
Try to open the door, and see what's behind. If the door doesn't open, use the bars to pry the door open.
>>586014
You take the lamp across the room and lay it on it's side, that way the full door can be revealed.
Turns out, there isn't even a door, just a passage way.
>>589435
Go through the passageway
>>589565
You decide to walk through the newly unearthed door...
And...
(Part 1 of 2)
>>589669
You are now the old guy.
>>589672
Open the door
>>589672
Open the door.
>>589899
Predictably, the door is locked.
>>589958
Go to the other side of the ledge.
>>589958
carve our horribly over grown nails into lock picks and use them to open the door
>>589958
View surroundings
