She opens her eyes to blinding light. She only just blinked a second ago during a loud crash and the last glimpse of her sibling.
The salty smell and rocking motion gives her the distinct feeling of an ocean.

She pushes on the window to open it but it won't budge. As she pushes the entire lid cracks open letting in a fresh sea breeze. The musty smell of old air is still fighting for dominance in the box so she starts to push the lid up and open to try and get out.
