Move two squares (up) and zap the Acolyte.
Mini Magus moves to an advantageous position.
The advantage of that position is not to be in a skeleton sword's reach.
That is quite the advantage if you are as squishy as MM. And then ZAP!s the remaining acolyte.

Check those barrels and maybe knock on those doors. Maybe we'll find some nice towns people that will give us free supplies or a free meal.

This, either one is good
if no free healing is in this area then MM and PP both take a potion due to being at 50% health.

I think we might have to buy more MP potions.

Pee-wee Paesant: "PLEASE DON'T KILL US!"
PP: "FEAR NOT! WE ARE HERE TO HELP FEND OFF THE UNDEADS!"
Pee-wee Paesant: "You just broke open our door..."
PP: "Yeah about that, you should have probably boarded it up! There are undeads everywhere!"
Pee-wee Paesant: "... W-we did..."

Might as well drink it now. Then we can just move on I guess.

PP, our tank, needs full HP, so drink the potion and go to the right!Where is the mysterious red "GO" arrow?Something is fishy... a bit quiet, too quiet...

PP: "What's wrong?"
RR: "The GO arrow didn't appear... i don't like th..."
RR: "Oh nevermind there it is"
MM: "I think it was waiting for PP to drink the potion"
RR: "Or someone was really lazy"
PP: "Let's move. The lord's house is right ahead!"
The party reaches the Lord's House Plaza.
A large group of undead occupies it, lead by a figure clad in purple robes.
He's angrily yelling to a spectre.
???: "WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT THE LORD SAID NO ONE BROUGHT ANYTHING IMPORTANT LATELY!
The spectre nods in fear
???: "It has to be there! My client said they were extremely important! That means the paladin still has those... and who knows where that holy moron is now...
The purple robed turns around, noticing the group.
???: "YOU!!!"
He points to Pint-sized Paladin
???: "WHERE ARE THE IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS YOU UNRIGHTULLY STOLE FROM MY CLIENT!??

Are you talking about the uh... magazines?
>>518647
Start reading O'Takku's smut out loud... in old English... to make the skeletons uncomfortable, we can't possible fight all of those boneheads at once.

this
PP: "UUUUUH"
RR: "Documents? Does he mean the parchments you got from that chest?"
PP: "Wait! hold on! Does it mean O'takku sent you?"
MM: "What is even in those parchments to send an entire undead army against a village?"
???: "I don't really got a name, but a yesterday a trio of really weird guys with black masks came to my lair and paid me to retrieve precious documents for their cult. They were rather creepy but they paid well. And i always get the job done."
MM: "Did they tell you what the documents were about?"
???: "They said the content should not concern me and that i will get paid. That's enough for me. They are probably powerful spells or evocation rituals or..."
PP: "[small]It's smut...[/small]"
???: "What?"
RR: "What"
MM: "What"
PP: "Well... uhm... mostly really artistic nude pinups of a succubus. I think they use these as pamplets for having people join their cult..."
MM: "..."
PP: "... there is also one with a short ritual written on the back in a different handwriting that should allow the user to contact... the succubus..."

Tease him with the pamplets.
>>518848
Ask him in a low voice how much the client is paying him for them.
>>518848
Sounds like he's had a rough time, are we gonna let him have the pamphlets? He seems like a good guy, maybe a bit heretical in nature but I think we can turn a blind eye just this once.

SMITE! SMITE FOR GREAT JUSTICE! (and also you can't hand them over it has the ritual to summon your girlfriend!)

This, the succubus said we were FIRE and thinks O'takku is a loser, she'll totally love this scene.
PP: "... Do you promise to leave the town if i give them to you?"
???: "Yes, yes. I promise. Just give me the parchments.
RR: "WAIT!"
PP: "Runty, We are pretty beaten up, i don't think we can take on other fights. This way we can save the town without risk"
RR: "No, i just wanted to ask if i could take a look at the pinups"
PP: "..."
RR: "I mean, we could summon the succubus no? She could help us in the fight no?"
PP: "It's just a contact spell, not a summoning. And I left the incense in my room"
RR: "Wait, did you try that alr..."
PP: "OHHEYSORRYHEREARETHEPARCHMENTSWECOOLRIGHT?!?"
Pint-sized Paladin gives the parchments to ???
???: "GOOD! GOOD! AND NOW! NOW...
???: "We get out. As promised. I already wasted too much energy and time for this dumb mission.
The purple robed figure motions to his army and they slowly march out of town.
???: "I'D SAY IT WAS A PLEASURE MEETING YOU BUT I'D JUST PREFER FORGETTING ABOUT THIS. HAVE A NICE DAY.
MM: "So... i guess that means we won?"
PP: "Yeah. We saved the town and avoided more damage and deaths."
RR: "..."
MM: "What's wrong"
RR: "You memorized the spell, haven't you?"

>Coming through!
>>520414
Can you explain nerve biter, don't you already only act once per turn or do you mean it won't be able to move and then attack or cast a spell?
>>520410
>Teleport
This might be a good choice, since we don't have much crowd control. We already have good damage output as a team, so this might be good.
>>520415
>Coming through!
Are you sure about this one? Maybe it would be better to have the 2d6 heal upgrade. We can waste 3MP and get a 1. This way we can have better healing imo.
>>520416
All monsters and characters have 2 actions that they can perform. Monster usually either move-move or move-attack. So taking out an action means the monsters will be really limited on what they can do
>>520416
>>520418
The Nerve Biter is basically another form of crowd control if I understand correctly. I think it would be good to take that one with the MM teleport. I think that in the future we might fight some "elite" monsters, and CC would be nice. Also, I still think that the PP should get better heal.
>>520417
I was thinking that being able to run through baddies to bullrush squishies with bonus damage is worth it. With teleport it's like he is on a bungee cord. Since it displaces by one square too, it can push enemies already in melee with MM and RR and allow them more room to manouver.
Besides, won't we mainly be healing with potions?
>>520418
I vote for Nerve Biter then
>>520421
>With teleport it's like he is on a bungee cord
That's actually a pretty interesting strategy. Alright, let's try this out! I hope the shopkeep will be around for more potions in the future.
>>520424
I mean it sounds good on paper. We have MM Zap and RR throwing dagger to take care of long range as well, so I'm not sure. Like I said, I just hope we can survive on potions alone.
>>520427
I am sure we will live long enough to level up at least one more time
>>520414
Quite a bit late here but I think MM should get Repetita IuvantZap 2.0, RR should get Critical Hit, and PP should get Coming Through.
Vote will be left up till tomorrow (in about 22 hours), So feel free to keep commenting and suggesting and picking your favourite combination!
No rush.
>>520407
Repitita Iuvant. Useful in any situation where we'd want to use Zap, which is quite often.
>>520409
It's Just A Flesh Wound. Makes healing via mana potions out of combat more efficient than health potions. Also useful for emergency healing, which may yet happen.
>>520414
Critical Hit! This will trigger almost half the time (43%) and has the potential for crazy amounts of damage. With how fast DD can move now, backstabs are fairly easy to get.
All these abilities do not rely on tactical situations. I've found it's unwise to choose abilities that require specific situations, because the DM may take that into account when designing enemy formations... which means the abilities are less useful than they seemed.
Nerve biter, flesh wound, and repetita!
Repetita Iuvant, Healing Aura, Critical Hit
Votes are in
Mini Magus learns: REPETITA IUVANT!
Pint-sized Paladin learns: COMING THROUGH!!
Runty Rogue learns CRITICAL HIT!!
The party returns to the tavern.
RR: "Sooooo... can i borrow the incense for tonight?"
PP: "Oh by the holy lights! SHUT UP!!!"
RR: "Spoilsport!"
PP: "Hey Ian, we are back!"
Ian: "Welcome back. There is someone that wanted to see you"
MM: "Uh? Who? We were not expecting guests."
The door of the kitchen opens
Succubus: "Heeeeey. Long time no see~"
PP: "YOU!?!?"
RR: "OH-OH! HELLO!"
Succubus: "I came here because i need to warn you guys of something really, really, really bad~"
