Well, let no one say you aren't adaptable. You have no idea where you are, or where the rest of your gang is for that matter, is beyond you, but you aren't just going to stand here and wait for something to come by and kick/shoot/devour you.

The enemy gang also appears to be gone for now, and nothing else appears to be animate or hostile at the moment. Given the little lul in the action, you might want to get your bearings and explore this new dome.

You are no cogboy, but they are likely part of some chemical container full of nasty caustic crap. Or poisonois crap. Or flammable crap. Or literal degenerate mutie crap. Or otherwise excessively dangerous stuff. You might be able to make barricades out of them in a pinch. Or put one somewhere you expect an ambush and then blast it as the enemy came around the corner, spraying them with whatevers inside. You don't know how durabke the casing is though. Lugging one around would be pretty difficult and require both your hands, but totally doable.

You realize how hungry you've gotten. Even in a place as wierd as this, there has to be something you can eat. You'll need your strength in order deal with whatever dangers lie here. You proceed down the passage, and you find... some sort of large port in the left wall, more cables, ans some sort of giant pink thing.

Will you venture further the unknown or check out some more stuff around here?

You press onward, muttering a half-arsed prayer to the Emperor as you do. Every little bit helps, you know? This place is a tangled wreck. You haven't seen a dome this cluttered in a very long time, some sort of catacalysmic event must have happened here at some point. Typical.

You find more strange industrial equipment and cables are everywhere as you proceed, doing your best to check your corners. A strange dotted cube, and yet another trough of those odd cylynders awaits you. There are stacks of strange material next to that trough that you might be able to climb as well.

You finish the grueling climb. Your first sighn of any life so far, some dead sacklike mutie. You nudged its corpse a few times with the barrel of your lasgun, just to make double-sure it was dead. Nothing else of any interest directly on these platoughs though. Sure feels lonely up here. At least nothing is sneaking uo behind you.

Y'see, you would, but... well... someone just fired a... something past your left ear, then shouted for you to freeze. Sounded like they might be wearing some mask or something because their voice is distorted and kinda weird. You spin, attempting to smack the pistol away. You hear an entirely alien sounding noise, almost dont feel an unreasonably thin graze open in the side of your cheek, and the pistol is seny scattering as your hand connects woth it. You respond wothout thinking as you hear the whistle of a blade travelling throigh the air and move to put your lasgun between yourself and the sword slice. There is a clash of metal, and then your assailant leaps backwards and grabs his sidearm from the ground as you pull your lasgun back to your shoulder and into firing position. You both right yourselves at the same time and there is a tense silence.

The two of you stand there for what feels like... an exceptional length of time in silence, though you are sure it was really only a few seconds. "Who the hell are you?" you bark at this stranger. You shudder to think it, but maybe it could be a Spyrer, one of the dark nightmare hunters from the top levels of the hive. Their poise seems perfect. If shot sare fired and you don't fell them in the first blast they would almost certainly be able to lethally injure you before you could stop them. Damn.
