OP here, this is my secondary ID (I made the thread from my laptop in another place) only this and the original are legit.

Calo Nassa, you were born in Coruscant, son of one of the Republic's finest officers,Zhane Nassa, you've felt a strong feeling of justice and honor from early ages, probably because of your father's strict education.

As soon as you were old enough, you joined the Republic's army, top of the class, you had been all your short life training with blasters and studing military tactics, you were noticed in the training by the Jedi master Hazok Tibras, he felt a force aura around you, and he was right, your Midi-chlorian levels were more than enough to initiate you as a Padawan.

You were taught to follow the path of the light, the usage of the force, you were tested several times on different mission alongside your master, Hazok, until that mission where you and him were fighting together against the dark lord Kev Dronos, sadly, your master was killed in that fight, and you would have died too, but the republic's troops reached your position, forcing Dronos to escape.

After that, you were granted the title of Jedi Knight, a long list of missions were given to you, most of them fullfilled succesfully. Over the years you've built yourself a reputation of a just and honourable Jedi, Even if you've argued more than once with other members of the Jedi Order, specially about the course of the war, you're still respected by them.

Almost a year ago, you were promoted to Jedi Master, and designated to defend the Republic's outpost in Kestos Minor, a planet with a few million habitants, in the border of the republic, you were also given the responsability of training a Padawan, Kel Varos, it's been 8 months since you both landad on this planet and started the his training, Varos has proved to be a really promising Jedi, everything was peacefull all these months, until now. "Focus Kel, let the force flow from your shoulders to the tip of your fingers, but don't just let it out, shape it, use it."

It was early in the morning, you and Kel were both on one of the Republic hangars, Kel was trying to lift a small but heavy electric generator using the force, he had done it only once before; lifting it up was the easy part, but letting it down, carefully, back on the ground was the problem, the last generator almost makes a hole in the pavement, needless to say, he broke that generator, this time it made a loud noise when it hit the ground, but both generator and pavement, were fine.

-"Well done, you're improving, now get your saber and go to the...".

In that moment you were disrupted by an officer, he was clearly worried and in a hurry to reach you.

"Sir, I've been looking for you" he gasps "Our scouts have found out a few hostile ships establishing a base of operations on a nearby planet, we have confirmation that the ships belong to the Sith Empire, we have already sent a message to Coruscant requesting for reinforcements, the enemy ships are not many, but they are preparing the ground for a larger fleet yet to come, how should we proceed?

Let them settle. Prepare an ambush for the incoming fleet. Better to destroy them in space than go through a lengthy ground action.

"Tell the general to prepare our men, get our entire fleet manned, we won't let them settle on this system, we must hurry before the main fleet arrives."

"Sir! yes sir!" The officer replies as he runs away, not even a minute passes and the alarm starts echoing through the whole complex, the hangar is now filled with people; pilots, soldiers, mechanics, everyone's going and coming.

In a few minutes the entire fleet is in orbit, led by two Hammerhead cruisers, followed by a two-hundred and fifty Aurek starfighters and lastly, a few carrier ships with dozens of Bivouac transports each.

You are standing on the bridge of one of the Hammerhead cruiser, with your padawan, Kel, on one side, and general Drex Thaxton, on the other.

Drex is a man on his late forties, still in shape though, his left eye is made of glass and covered behind an patch, he could've had an implant but he's against any technological implants, his missing eye isn't his only battle mark, his face shows a long scar starting from his chin, all the way up towards his forehead, caused by a sith's saber long ago. He's not a Jedi, but any enemy that knows him would fear him just like any jedi. He's a man of honour, just like you, Drex always prefers to lead their men from the frontline, rather than from the armchair.

"You look worried, Drex, if the reports are correct, we shouldn't have any problems to eliminate the sith forces." You say as you turn towards him.

"I'm not worried for where we going, I'm worried for what we left behind."

"You shouldn't be neither, we have fortificated the planet quite well the past months, even if they attack them while we're gone, the defenses should last enough for us to come back."

"I hope you're right, Nassa".

During the rest of the trip you keep meeting with the officers, coordinating and planning the assault on the outpost, the republic's scouts keep sending reports hour after hour, the enemies do not seem to expect us at all.

"Remember your training, padawan, and remember, stay close, in the formation, do not loose yourself on the fight." You say to Kel, as you're a few minutes away from the planet.

"Yes, master."

As the republic fleet gets closer to the planet, you can see the silhouette of a Sith battleship orbiting around the planet, you order your fleet to open fire, hundreds of lasers, and proyectiles fly towards the the enemy battleship, at the same time it returns fire, we almost take it down with our overwhelming firepower, when you realise that the missing sith fighters are trying to flank us from our sides, they're going after our transports carriers, filled with troops while most of our fighters are still trying to take down the already weakened enemy battleship.

What are your orders?

>Send the fighters to protect our carriers while our cruisers finishes off the enemy battleship.

"Pull back the fighters! Do not let them get to our transports." You order.

The order is immediatly sent to all fighters, they quick maneuver capability lets them get back towards the transport quickly, just in time to repel the sith ships, our fighters almost triplicate the number of their fighters, the skirmish didn't last long.

In the front line, our cruisers get one on each side of the enemy battleship, and they hit it with all they've got, the already weakened battleship finally perishes, but one of our cruisers took some damage.

One of the crewmen in the bridge of the Hammerhead cruiser stands up from his position and walks towards Drex, handing him the report of the battle.

"A major victory Nassa, only a handfull of enemy fighters could escape, most of them were destroyed." He says as he hands you the report.

>Battle Results:

>1 Hammerhead cruiser damaged but still in shape to fight.
>28 Aurek fighters down.
>No transports damaged.

>96 Sith Fighters down.
>1 Derriphan-class battleship down.

"I guess we're ready to start the ground assault!" says Kel while you're still reading the report, the padawan was eager to put in practice what he learnt the past eight months.
Suddenly another officer shows up, before you could even reply to the padawan.

"Sir, an urgent message from Kestos Minor, the siths are starting a ground assault on the outpost, they forces... are overwhelming"

"How overwhelming? Any reports?" You reply

"They're intercepting our communications, sir, they are bombing the infraestructure in the planet, so they cut off all comunication, we've recieved only one message, and it may be the only we'll recieve, they are not responding, we do not have any intel on the enemy fleet, but it seems there're two whole brigades attacking the planet."

"Two whole brigades!?" Shouts Drex in surprise. "We are talking of around ten thousand troops, our defenses would not hold them!"

You freeze for a second, not even with all your men stationed in the planet you'd be able to hold off such an assault force, the fact that you left the planet, may be a good idea after all, your forces would have died defending it.

"What about our reinforcements?" You ask to Drex.

"They're still a couple hours from here, I hope they're sending a good number of ships if they want to take Kestos back, it seems... this outpost was a bait."

The officer nods at Drex's remark, and turns his head to Nassa, as he asks:

"What are your orders, General Nassa, should we start the land assault on this outpost?"

>Start the land assault on this outpost to prevent the sith using it later on.
>Do not waste forces taking the outpost, let it be, but hold for a few hours until the reinforcements are in the system and join them to take Kentos.
>Retreat our forces to Kentos and try to take it back. (We'd be heavily outnumbered, and we could only take a small "beachhead" for our reinforcements but with a really high roll).

"No, the assault has been cancelled, we need all our troops ready for taking Kestos."

You let a deep sigh out, as you try to figure out your next move, and then you conclude:

"Send in the bombers alongside with some fighters, we must cause as much damage as posible, this is an strategic point for them, if they settle here succesfully, it would mean a retreat and regroup point if we take Kestos back, or even a node to prepare more reinforcements, and we don't want that to happen, even if this was a bait, we cannot let them settle."

"Understood sir." Said the officer as starts walking towards the communications section, to transmit your orders to the fleet.

It didn't take too long for the whole bombing squad to leave the formation, alongside with a few fighters, they left towards the planet's surface.

Once they reached the surface, they found little defences, the only AA capacity left were a few trooper squads with some AA rocket launchers, but the bombers were out of their reach.

For the next three hours, the bombers kept making a few trips back and forth from the main fleet and back to the surface of the planet, they did a few bombing rounds and had to go back to recharge their weapons, most of the Sith army died, all their facilities, alongside with their enginering capacity was gone.

The bombers and fighters came back to the main fleet, the bombing was over, but the cruiser sensors were detecting several unknown ships coming towards our fleet.

"I want the whole fleet on defesive formation and ready for combat!" You shout as the Sith fleet, or atleast part of it, appears a few miles away from your location.

"Hold on the line, don't let them reach our transports, the reinforcements should be about to arrive, do not disperse, pull back the carriers to safety."

"Yes commander." The officer nods as he rushes to transmit your orders to the fleet.

The Sith fleet advances towards you, as it gets closer, you clearly notice the difference in size between fleets.

"This is going to be a tough one." you think.

The battle begins, both fleets merge together forming a giant swarm of fighters.

Lasers and explosions everywhere, it's a mayhem, after a few minutes you see a big explosion between the chaos, it was the damaged Hammerhead cruiser, finally being destroyed by the Sith forces.

"We're under one hundred and fifty fighters now." shouts and officer from his position in the command bridge.

"Come on, where are them." whispers Drex, clearly refering to the reinforcements.

One of the enemy battleships is getting in position to discharge it's weapons on your cruiser, and it does. You feel how the entire cruiser shakes as the enemy torpedoes hits you ship.

"Sir, they weapons have surpassed our shields!"

You can hear an emergency alarm on the bridge, the cruiser was about to collapse.

In that exact moment, you see the shining of an explosion which blinds your eyes for a few seconds, luckly, the explosion wasn't originated on your ship, you quickly realise it's the Sith battleship falling apart.

The reinforcements finally arrived, over eight hundred Aurek fighters alongside with six Hammerhead cruisers just joined the battle, destroying every enemy ship in their path, everyone around you was shouting of happiness, Drex hugged Kel while he laughed, it was a relief.

The battle didn't last much longer. As it finished, one of your crewmen handed you the battle report:

>Battle Results:

Our loses:
>1 Hammerhead cruiser destroyed, 1 (yours) damaged (1 Remaining).
>142 Aurek fighters down (80 remaining)
>No transports damaged.

Allied loses:
>0 Hammerhead cruisers down (6 remaining).
>85 Aurek fighters down (715 remaining).

Enemy losses:
>400 Sith Fighters down.
>2 Derriphan-class battleship down.

There was no time to celebrate, as soon as you finished reading the report, you and your padawan, Kel, proceed to leave the cruiser in order to meet the Jedi Knights leading the reinforcements in one of the other Hammerhead cruisers.

There are two Jedi in that cruiser, one of them is Master Sen Udo-Un, a male Cerean, he was a close friend of your old master, not that much yours, he's a peacefull man, yet very well capable of fighting, respects the Jedi ways and traditions without questions.

The other is knight Giska Kith, a Twi'lek, she's an old friend of you, you've saved each other lifes several times in the past and shared many misions on your early days of training.

As soon as you board the ship, they are waiting to meet you.

"And yet one more time, I save your life Calo." Says Giska loudly as she walks closer to salute you, Sen Udo-Un follows her.

"Well, if we start counting, you still owe me a few more, remember that time in Telos IV were I saved you from the smugglers?" You answer, with a smile in your face.

"Yeah, good ol' times" she replies just as master Sen Udo-Un arrives.

"Hello, Master Udo-Un." You salute with a slight reverence to the master.

"Hello Master Nassa, it seems we've arrived just in time." Master Udo-Un remarks.

"Indeed, the past hours have been a chaotic, we destroyed a Sith outpost, won two space battles, but we lost Kestos."

"Yes, we've been informed, yet we're surprised that you're still alive, noone ever suspected the Siths to attack with such a large force on this sector of the galaxy, Kestos was not prepared for this."

You kept talking for a while, then called all high ranked officers to a meeting on the cruiser to decide a battleplan for the invasion on Kestos, after a few hours there are plenty of idea, it is time to pick which battle plan you choose, but first, you think about the intel you've got:

>4 Jedis including you. (2 Masters, 1 Knight, 1 Padawan)
>7 Hammerhead cruisers (1 damaged)
>795 Aurek fighters.
>30 transport carriers, filled with Bivouac transports, troopers and officers.
>Total of 900 Bivouac transports, capable of transporting 8 people each plus the crewmen.
>7.000 total of troopers plus field officers (6.000 regular troops, 1.000 elite)

Sith Forces (Low Intel, information may be wrong or missing):
>Atleast 1 Sith Lord.
>2 Brigades (8.000 - 11.000 Troops) stationed on the planet.
>9 Derriphan-class battleship
>??? Sith Fighters

Other Intel:

>It is confirmed that Kestos' militia is showing resistance against the ocupation, but yet we don't know how much damage they've caused to the enemy army.
>Bombing on Kestos it is not allowed, there are a lot of civilian hostages, specially on military facilities.
>There're heavy AA instalations in the surface, although some of them have been damaged in the Sith's invasion.
>There are yet plenty of un-manned fighters in a lot of hangars in the planet, if we can take the hangars we could use the figthers as a backup for the fight in the space.

So general, what is your plan?

((Reminder: you can split your troops, you can board enemy battleships, etc. Use your imagination. Again sorry for the grammar.))
>>
>>459715
Try to sneak in two teams one will take the hangars and the other will try too take the AA instalations and use them to attack the Sith Forces from behind wall our ships in space will attack them from the front.

"Before the ground assault we must control the orbit, leave most of our troops on stand-by, get our cruisers and fighters to attack them, we should isolate an enemy battleship and board it, the boarding team will be composed by all present Jedi and a bunch of our elite troopers.
Meanwhile, as the enemy's atention is set on the battle, try to sneak a task team in the planet's surface alongside some pilots, they should reach the hangars and seize the figthers, after that, the task force in the planet should try to neutralize the AA instalations, they would be of great help for the final invasion."

You dismiss the group, you can notice that Kel's a little nervous, you grab his shoulder as you talk to him.

"It's okay to be nervous Kel, it's your first mission, just remember, don't forget your training, and most of all, do not panic in the battlefield."

Kel looks at you and nods firmly.

"It's an honour to share my first mission with three great Jedi, I wont let you down."

After a few moments, the whole fleet's ready for combat, everyone's informed of their objectives, Drex's going to lead the task force in the surface, while you, Kel, Giska and master Udo will be leading squads of fifteen men each, being the boarding force a total of 60 men, and 4 jedi.

The battle's about to begin, you're already in the boarding shuttle alongside your troops and the Jedi,

Both fleets merge together, hundreds of fighters, and a few cruisers, scrambling to kill each other,

You see an enemy battleship getting slightly away from the others, so you give the order for the fighter to isolate it from the fight, they quickly form a swarm around it killing any enemy fighter, but without harming the battleship, increasing your chance of succes on the boarding.

The boarding shuttle leaves the Hammerhead cruiser you were in and makes it's way through the battlefield, escorted by a few fighters, your team quickly reaches the enemy battleship, the shuttle rams against the side of the battleship, and making use of it's plasma torch, makes a hole through the fuselage, allowing yourself, and your troops, inside the ship.

You board the battleship, shooting everyone in your way, they weren't expect you to board the battleship, as you lead your men through the halls of the ship in order to get to the bridge of command, an emergency alarm starts ringing, the guards of the ship group together to fight you back.

You manage to succesfully defeat that first group of guards, with only a few loses on your side. You group together with Udo, Giska and Kel, and try to orientate yourself in the ship, you all have studied the blueprints of most Sith battleships, it seems you're standing in the middle of one of the hangar of the ship, and there are four different hallways to go from here.

"We must hurry, they already know we're here."- Griska remarks.

"That's right." Udo replies. "If my memory doesn't fails me, at the end of that hallway should be the elevator that takes us to up to the bridge level, after that, it's just going straight through a long hallway."

Udo has a lot of experience on space battles, it's not the first time he's on one of these ships. You and your troops follow him through the hallways towards the elevator, you find a few guards on the way, most of them flee from your group.

You go straight up through the elevator, right as planned, in the elevator only fits a group of ten people, so most of the troopers wait for it to go back down.
The elevator's going up, all Jedi are with their sables on hand, ready to whoever's going to welcome you up there, as you reach the top level of the battleship and the elevator's doors open, there are around ten guards waiting, pointing their blasters at the elevator, you four use your sabers to repell most of the blaster shots while you're runnig towards them.

Kel uses the force to disarm a few guards while they were shooting, Giska uses her speed to quickly reach them and starts cutting heads off, you killed them easily.

There are hallways to pick, one goes to the barracks, from where the guards keep coming, and the other to the bridge.

You turn around to your troops, and speak loudly.

"Listen up! this hallway here is the only entrance to the bridge, I want you all to defend this choke point, the guards will keep coming from the barracks, Master Udo knows the way better, he'll guide me to the bridge, I need atleast ten of you to come with me so once we reach the bridge we can start controlling the ship, Kel, you stay with Giska defending, understood?"

"Sir, yes sir!" everyone says at the same time.

You and master Udo leave towards the bridge as the rest keep the guards away, you take a few turns before reaching the entrance to the bridge of command, you stop for a second, there's a strong force aura on the room ahead of you.

The door's locked one of your men uses an electric device to unlock the circuits, as the door opens, a huge wave of blaster fire comes from inside the bridge, you and Udo quickly block as many shots as you can with your sabers as you get inside the room, half your troops die trying to get to cover.

The gunfire lasts less than a minute, you kill the last enemy officer with your saber when you realize all your men but Udo died.

"Is that you, Calo?" You hear the raspy, deep voice coming from the right part of the room, you hadn't noticed the man standing on the shadows, as he walks closer towards the light, you recognize his pale skin, it was Kev Dronos himself, the Sith lord that many years ago killed your own master infront of your eyes.

"Dronos, hiding as usual, I've been looking for you all these years."

The sith chuckles as he cracks a small smile on his face.

"You've been looking for your death, huh'? well, today you'll find it jedi."

A red saber lights up from Dronos right hand, then another one lights from his left hand.

"I hope you'll learnt how to fight through all these years." Dronos says.

"Let me show you." You respond as you and Master Udo jump towards the Sith, hitting your lasersabers against his.

>60/100 Minor Success

You fight against the Sith Lord side by side with Master Oda, but Dronos is a is a skillful, and very quick opponent, he's got no problem repelling your attacks. Sparks from the sabers iluminate the room, Dronos keeps repelling every single attack, Master Udo almost hit him with his saber and Dronos had to move his saber faster than ever, making him loose the grip of it, dropping it on the ground as he repelled the attack, he keeps defending hasn't attacked any of you yet, he's looking for the right time to strike, and after a few minutes scrambling to defend himself, he finally attacks.

He caught Udo off guard and with a quick lunge Dronos stabbed him on his chest, precisely on his hearth, making him faint onto the ground.

"NO!" You scream as Dronos grins.

Hatred seizes you, you start hitting him fater and faster, this time Dronos is also attacking you, he's quick, but you know him, you pretend to leave a spot for him to attack, but when he does it you dodge him while you swing your lightsaber, cutting off his saber wielding arm.

Dronos kneels down on the ground as he screams in pain, you place your saber an inch away from his neck.

"It's over Dronos, you're my prisoner now."

Dronos leaves a deep sigh out.

"It's not the first time I'm a Jedi's prisoner, Calo, and you know it, my people will help me escape, they always do, this is not a victory, If a victory you want, forget the Jedi rules, yield to your rage and finish this for once, I killed both your master and you friend, and I will keep killing."

The choice is yours, there are no witnesses:

>Kill Kal Dronos.
>Restrain Kal Dronos.
>Other. (?)

Kill him, quick and simple decapitation. Then broadcast to the enemy that the Sith Lord is slain in an attempt to demoralize them.

"You'll never kill again, Dronos."

You swing your saber through his neck, making his head roll onto ground.

The troopers you left behind had no problems defending the command bridge, some of them started to advance, led by Giska and Kel, towards the barracks to clean them off, others were sent to your position to act a crewmen at the bridge.

The battleship's under your command now, you start discharging it's weapons against the enemy ships, the battle's still tight, there's no clear winning side yet.

You decide to transmit the dead, pale head of the Sith Lord to all enemy ships in order to demoralize them.

You receive a message from the task force in the planet, it seems our pilots have seized a group of fifty fighters, it's not much but I'll help, they're already coming to join the battle.
Drex tells you that the situation in the surface is a mayhem, Kestos' citizens have formed a militia and are resisting the Sith occupation,

What are your orders from Drex?

>>Keep advancing towards the AA instalation and neutralize them. (For success roll 65 or more.)
>>Make contact with the militia and Help them sabotaging the Sith incursion. (Roll 50 or more)
>>Retreat the task force back to the main fleet. (Roll 35 or more)
