You were given name Pale Whelp. Not a name, more a designation. Real names are for females only in Drow society. First earmarked for mines, then, when minor sorcery powers were discovered in you, for warrior caste. You were starved, beaten, deprived of sleep, marched for days. You were explained you are scum.
Eventually you were put into Scouting party, consisting of you, three wariors and old, mean Party leader. You have traversed the caves and mines of Diveth Oussett, Nynim Elprabar and Durdaer Kront'tesz region for decades. You know the mines. You know death. You have killed dozens of enemy Drow warriors, hundreds of escaped slaves. And still, you are worthless. In despite your skill and some magical powers, you are but a peon.
Today, Party leader was killed by another Drow raid party. You and three other warriors have survived. You are in the southmost part of Durdaer Kront'tesz region, five days walk from family manor and fortress that is your home and prison.

Other warriors seem rather scared. With Party leader dead you are in command and they look up to you. Throught the years most of initiative has been eroded from them.
