I'm waiting for a couple more votes, its currently a tie between A and E. I'll go over what they give us.

Tundra= LOTS of hunting opportunities, however ground is covered in Permafrost, Mineral deposits are average, and every army that wants to come get us will have to walk through Tundra (Mother Russia amiright)

Coast
Lots of fishing opportunities, very little hunting opportunities, we have good access to the ocean, ground isn't very fertile but you can farm on it, below average mineral deposits

As for PAtriarchy and Matriarchy its basically just deciding who goes to war and what happens in elections. Egalitarianism just means we have more people to send to war and have working, but democracy would devolve into a shitshow. Also Egalitarianism is more susceptable to Matriarchy/Patriarchy. If a lot of men die in one battle.. Well shit

Currently we're tied between Coast and Tundra for starting point, and Patriarchy/Egalitarianism for Gender roles, whenever a new guy ascends to the throne basically we're rolling two 1d100s, one for Female acceptance and one for male acceptance with Egalitarianism. Whereas matriarchy/Patriarchy is just one.

Well I restarted my civ because it started on an Island. Island is literally hard mode.

Now let's begin.

We have come from the North.. It has been ravaged by war, and turned frozen (For all you Witcher fans, the white frost happened), we are still in the Tundra, but we migrated a little south. Now that we are here. There is no land to farm however hunting is aplenty, in the recent wake, we have chosen to become Egalitarian, with both women and men being equal. How that will work out for Politics we know not. However we must survive.

We continue to research, and begin to create very warm clothing out of the hides of the dead animals. Our people are content with the Tundra! We also create snow shoes for increased mobility, this allows us to go outside for longer periods and get more food.
