Welcome to Fallout Civ.
Since the last time we tried out some Fallout Adventures OP seemed to pop out on us, we'll be having a good time here.
We'll be playing a tribe in The Fallout universe. Our setting is currently in the midst of an irradiated swamp.
First to three votes on the following options wins it out.
-Who are we?
>Vault Survivors
>Raiders
>Abandon BoS Recon Team
>Distant Legion Outpost
>Escaped NCR War Prisoners
>Super Mutants (Note, we don't have any FEV)
-Where are we living in?
>Trailer Park
>Pre-War Cabins
>A Church
>A Small Storm Shelter
>Just Tents
>>348473
>Escaped NCR War Prisoners
Not that I know what NCR is.
>A Small Storm Shelter
>>348473
Raiders in the Cabins
>>348493
NCR is The New California Republic.
They're some guys from California that managed to make a nation out of some unified wasteland settlements and are pretty popular for having an organized military and government.
>>348505
Here's a picture.
>>348555
Do our previous votes count?
>>348558
Yup.
You can change them if you want though.
We got:
Storm Shelter: 1
Church: 1
Cabins: 1
>>348473
>Fallout
>Grass
>Plants
>Trees
Wow. How can one fuck up this hard?
>>348605
>Our setting is currently in the midst of an irradiated swamp.

>>348560
I vote church and Super Mutants
QM, if there's no tie-breaker, I suggest a roll from you.
>>348628
Currently a Church is winning
If nothing else pops up in a few minutes we'll be NCR in a Church.
>>348473
>>Vault Survivors
>A Small Storm Shelter
So Church and NCR have the most votes by now so we'll be going with that.
It's been only three days since your team has escaped from Legion Captivity. The lot of you used to be troopers along The Mojave, but as you were taken back eastward by way of slaver chain some of you have managed to break away and escape into the night. There are now five former troopers with little else to heir name but dog-tags and uniforms, but luckily enough The legion seems far too busy stretching their arms westward to take too much notice of you in The Eastern Swamps.
Though you're cut off from The NCR by ways of being on The Eastern Side of The Legion, you seem safe as of yet in the small church settled in the depths of The Toxic Swamplands.
You carry on your person:
>5 Dog-tags
>1 Combat Knife
>5 NCR Uniforms
>5 NCR Rations
>10 King James Bibles
Your men will need to eat at least half a ration a day to sustain themselves.
You're currently located by a lake from what you an see, but the water is stagnant and dirty. It's not advised to drink it for too long.
You have three actions. Good luck, soldiers.
>>348674
>Read an inspiring quote to pump the men up
>Asign two to scout the land near us
>Fortify the church if we have the material
>search for peaceful bunkers
>find some of those Brahmin (I think they were called)
>find a way to make weapons
>>348674
1: Scout for clean, fresh water.
2: Begin work on a crude wooden drawbridge made of branches tied together with pieces of flexible wood.
3: Sharpen some straight branches into points.

"He will wipe away all tears from their eyes. There will be no more death, no more grief or crying or pain. The old things have disappeared." – Revelation 21:4
That's what you read to your men today, and many of them seemed to like that. These men are NCR, most of them the sons of brahmen ranchers. They know God Well.
A few good soldiers hike out of the church to take a look of this swamp in the daylight. The Northern Explorer reports finding nothing yet save for even thicker marshes to the north east.
The Southern Explorer has a small hell of a time searching through The Thick down south, but he claims to have found something promising along the banks. It seems to be the likes of a shore bound ship of some sort along the lake. He'll need to take a closer look at it to assess what's really going on with it.
No fresh water has yet been found.
Sharpening the branches proved easy enough, though the wood around is mighty wet and hard to work with at times. The spears you now use had to be dried for quite some time in The Church's Windows before they could be properly sharpened.
Work on a drawbridge seemed mighty flawed, as the wood around is in no quality to do such a feat, and there's not even a moat to have it purposed for.
Your men collectively ate 2.5 rations.
You carry on your person:
>5 Dog-tags
>1 Combat Knife
>5 Wooden Spears
>5 NCR Uniforms
>2.5 NCR Rations
>10 King James Bibles
>>348846
>Send out two to hunt
>The others to fix up the Church
>Relaxing time
IT'S NOT THE SAME WITHOUT BOB!!!

You and your men are all busy trying to survive.
one of the troops headed west, but found that the shoreline met them there.
The two that were once exploring set their sights to hunting instead, as it was becoming quickly apparent that the rations were running low. In the north there was little luck, but southward deeper into the hill ridden thicket there was a collection of giant slugs that proved very easy to kill. They're slimy things, but meat is meat, and your men are no stranger to 'exotic' flavors.
The boat was found to be an abandon fishing vessel. It's small, only enough to carry four men along its hull, but it is still lake worthy. The only issue is that its motor has long been run down and has little hope of functioning unless someone manages to come up with some real tools to work on it with. There was a single fishing pole among the boat, though no bait.
Today you found:
10 Slug Meat
1 Fishing Boat (Broken Motor)
1 Fishing Pole
Today your men used:
2.5 NCR Rations
You carry on your person:
>5 Dog-tags
>1 Fishing Pole
>1 Fishing Boat (Broken Motor)
>1 Combat Knife
>5 Wooden Spears
>5 NCR Uniforms
>10 Slug Meat
>10 King James Bibles

Forgot the map.

Let's make some wooden oars - say, one oar for each man - and then row out of the area with our pointed sticks and other possessions.
>>349170
You have five men
The boat carries four.
Ohp. Storm passing through OP Land.
Gotta unplug, guys.
Be back in like an hour or two.
>>349247
Be safe, OP.
>>349175
One man can sit on another man's shoulders or lap. It'll be weird but it'll work.
>>349123
> Unravel the fabric in one of the NCR uniforms in order to make impromptu fishing line, Tie a dog-tag to the end of this line after binding it to the pole, use the knife to carve another dog-tag into a hook and tie that at the very end.
>With jury rigged fishing-pole, attach some of the slug meat and have one of the men go fishing nearby the boat.
My suggestions at least :P
>>349247
Where do you live?
OP dead?
>>349247
did the storm take our OP?
>>350942

>>352454
