5 types of organisms exist in a completely blank environment, and it's your job to give them features and modify them to help them survive! Draw the creature with a new feature, and remember, it doesn't matter how well you draw or what software you use!
Rules:
>Don't add features that are too radical. Keep them small but noticeable. Limbs can't just pop out of nowhere!
>Make sure everyone knows which creature yours started out as. Keep in mind, you don't have to keep it the same color.
>If you're in the thread, you've gotta contribute!
>Describe why the feature you added occurred. What caused this variation of the creature to survive?
>Don't steal ideas! Make sure your new feature is INDIVIDUAL.
>Someone can choose ANYTHING to modify. Even your own modified version of the organism.
>Multiple people can change one organism. It'll just be counted as branching off, like in real evolution.
>Think outside the box. Try not to make an organism too much like something we have in the real world. Think of new kinds of features.
All of them contain an equal amount of nutrients, and their goal is to get more nutrients to reproduce. They're capable of eating small bits trace nutrients around them by absorption, but they can't eat each other as of now. They're all grazers, floating in the tidepool without a way to control their movement, like putty in your hands.
I'll say more about the environment after a little while so that you have more reasons to add features. There will also be events like warming and cooling, and other such things. Lets get going!
Really hope this gets off the ground
Bumping, god dammit I wanna see this happen.
Photosynthesis happens.
I call it the limey.
The blue blob on the right finaly opened its eye that it had all along but was closed to view the blank enviorment
Thank god this got interest
>>218812
The yellow organisms started eating some limeys and found them quite delicious. They've develop a rudimentary flapping locomotion to get to the limeys.
I call this one the pacrays.
The blue organism gazes in disbelive as some unknown lifeform appears in some sort of machine. He waddles towards him and leaves something infront of the organism. The creature returns to its machine and dissapears

wat
The red ones started to hunt the pacrays. They've developed a suction on their behinds and propel themselves through the water via water pressure.
This one's called the rudish.
Thus far
Suddenly the grapes scream out
"AHHH NIGGA WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT"
>>218930
A second eye and a mouth. Most helpful adaptations.
>>219048
if you went serious get off the thread please.
Limey gains Poisinous spikes to protect itself from predators.
>>219048
>>219070
The blue blob blinks again to find there were no grapes but he was hallucinating. What a creative vision for something thats seen nothing but blankness. The Blob u
>>219144
So how is the drug trip going?
Sorry about adding to Limey, I thought this was like the other Evo game.
the blu blob grows a tail to run from predators, It also gain a primitive mouth to take in more nutrients
>>219144
Turns out BB wasn't hallucinating after all. What he saw was in fact the reproductive stage of the Crapes. Though them having faces was just an hallucination since they only have 3 depressions on their bodies that vaguely resembles a face.
BB trys to talk to the Crapes but they do not reply
(Also my thread is dying if you want to check it out >>218749 but I do love this thread)
I think I'm gonna pitch in a little. The blue ones develop folds to increase their surface area without using more nutrients, and can therefor absorb more trace nutrients in the water. They also have tails which wiggle, propelling them into areas with fresh nutrients.
>>219179
Is this the cyan blue blob or the deep blue blob?
>>219216
I don't know whether to count BB in the family tree thing.
>>219194
Adding onto this. No visual change, so no edit. The "stem" is a reproductive organ. Crapes gather into large clusters to mate. They are hermaphroditic creatures, thus they both fertilize others and bear their own young. At the end of these orgy matings, the crapes all release a cloud of zygotes into the water before going their separate ways again.
>>219070
I couldn't resist.
>>219194
THATS the best twist I've seen all day. Well done anon.
>>219279
oh my god
>>219179
It is the blue one sorry
Here's the family tree as of now. It's coming along nicely, thanks guys
Bleu gained another tail to move faster and rudimentary eyes to see enemies and food
>>218971
Yellow Eaters grow pinches to grab limeys easily
>>219070
T H I R D E Y E
THEIR THIRST FOR MORE VIEWABLE KNOWLEDGE CAN'T BE STOPPED
>>219194
Crapes start using these 3 depressions as mouth, nose and anus without caring what's what
>>219734
Fug
>>219741
This
>>219792
The pacrays are the yellow ones but probably the red guys would evolve poison features too since they eat pacrays
>>219792
the Redds start eating Limeys
>>219741
>>219798
The Pacrays propel their collected poison by flicking it with a prong.
>>219792
Some Redds evolve a longer mouth to easily catch preys
A discolored version of green appeared complete with many tendrils used to capture prey. The basic Pibbian is born! (Pibbius Crinus)
>>219870
Breh I can't, im just posting my stuff hoping for a good soul to draw them for me
>>219877
Why not? It doesn't have to look nice.
>>219194
>>219279
With this development, sometimes, its not a surprise to see some Crapes stick with one another. Its holes became narrower to make its body morphology more efficient
>>219070
Blue Blob saw what you some are trying to do, yet didnt actually do anything about it
Blue Blob laughs at the pathetic display
>>219792
The Red guy develop fins and larger mouth to prey the more abundant creatures. Some of their eyes had to disappear to make place for the fins, but the remaining eyes got bigger and more specialized
>>218971
Some of them became more bulkier and more effective in thriving in the ecosystem. Their senses also become more specialized
>>219856
Specialization of each tentacles is the key of goodness. Some Pibbius develops even more sophisticated tentacles, but each of them now serves their own purposes. Theres mouth and mouth tentacles at the bottom, Grabbing tentacles by the sides, and Lookout tentacles at their top
>>219688
Longer Fins for Bleu, because everyone os getting crazier, and it had to chase prey and avoid predation. So more speed is always beneficial
>>219792
develops legs for climbing ladders
>>219913
Because I don't have the computer and you can't enlarge the max pixels on phone apps
Patrays get fins and a tail
>>220541
Those are poison sacs for spitting, follow the trail.
>>220596
>>222578
I'm an idiot.
>>220522
The union between Crape couples strengthens as they learn to walk, blurring the lines between the individuals
>>220729
Patrays' fins get tipped with a poisonous enzyme to kill predators if they try to eat them.
>>222232
Bring them back yourself then, traits changes everytime during evolution, sometimes overriding the old ones. and old traits may resurface again
>>222589
He looks like he's telling the gods to Check 'em
