The year is 2040
Humanity was crushed by the Fleet of Fog, and can't risk losing the firepower they still have left.
They had to watch as their navies were all destroyed by ships that brought them hope and victories long ago.
But now, they can see these ships in a new light...

You are the Battleship USS North Carolina, and are ready to take back the seas from the Fleet of Fog!
>LAST TIME on Kantai Collection of Blue Steel, we rescued the USS New Jersey. We cuddled her later on.
>We currently have 1 Fate Point in the bank
You wake up, and feel truly refreshed. You were really comfy cuddling with NJ last night.
You notice that she currently isn't beside you, and has most likely gone to find breakfast.
You get up and dressed, and then set out to find her in the base's cafeteria.

You walk into the cafeteria and find her right away. It isn't hard really, considering that there's only 5 other girls on the base who wear distinctive clothing.
You walk over to her and she smiles at you, gesturing for you to sit next to her.
You do just that and...

That sounds weird as hell out of context

"How was your first night sleep?" you ask, trying your absolute hardest not to spill your spaghetti.

"I mean that I was comfy as well."
"Ah. Well I've got to get going-" NJ starts to day as the alarm blares yet again.
"SHIPGIRLS REPORT TO STATIONS. TWO SOUTH DAKOTA CLASS BATTLESHIPS AND ONE PENNSYLVANIA CLASS BATTLESHIP HAVE BEEN SPOTTED."
You look at each other for a second before running to the launch point as fast as you possibly can.
You arrive just a minute after New Jersey, as she is a few knots faster then you.
Ehen you get to the launching point, you learn that Lexington and Argy are on patrols together, and that it's just you, Houston, New Jersey, and Hailey.
You launch with just as much ease has you always have, and make your way to the enemy fleet quickly.
The Fog Battleships open fire immediately, before you can raise your Klein Field, grazing you.

At the same time, you move up closer with the other girls to get into a suitable firing range.

What's the difference between 'Fire' and 'Concentrate Fire'? As for 'continue moving up, what are the advantages and reason to do so if we can already fire now, unless we're currently at very long ranges and thus has less chance of hitting?
>>211341
Fire is everyone fires at their own target, which will be determined by me rolling, aside from what we're firing at. This spreads out damage.
Concentrate fire is everyone focusing on one target, dealing massive damage to that particular target, but none to the others.
