Alright, here is how this works: Choose a character to play as, and I'll draw out what you're doing. Two of them are currently in stories, the threads of which you can find bellow, one is still open to be made.

Sometimes a roll will be required - this will require a 2d100, first roll deciding whose roll I take, second the value, and it will always be opposed.

Alright, you are Charles "Charley" Chambers and you yesterday you witnessed a truly grotesque abomination in the bowels of the factory you're a security guard of.

Now you're sitting on the computer, having done some research into what that mass of flesh and metal might be, and most recently have decided to look for other job opportunities in case whatever you've seen destroys your current work place.

>If you want a short retell in pictures, tell me

You phone up Beta from work who's just finished the night shift. He tells you that the med bay in the main block of Yuland Weytani Industries has been quarantined, and that he had to stand guard there most of the night.

Apparently, other than that, it's business as usual.

>Don't we have to go to work though? We only called in sick for yesterday

Yeah in... Oh fuck, you gotta go to work in two hours, and you haven't slept since yesterday.

You give Beta your cryptic hint and hit the hay, intent on waking up when the alarm goes off.
And indeed, you're awoken by a high pitched ringing, but as you try to snooze it, there's no reaction. The noise continues unabated.
A quick look at your watch reveals that it's not yet time to get up, and indeed somebody is holding down the doorbell to your apartment.

you open the door, your pistol in hand, and it opens to a man in a suit, accompanied by a large augmented guy in combat gear.

Immediately, the man tries to enter, but you persuade him to stay outside at gunpoint.

"Mister Chambers?" he asks then, slightly put off his stride. "We are with Crash Corporation, and we have a proposal for you."

The man in the combat armour stands around unsure of himself. Clearly, he had expected this interaction to start off differently. You see a shock baton drawn in his right hand.

"Well we were hoping to get you before you went off to work, Mister Chambers." he replies, taking out a Credit chip from his suit.

"As we have heard from relyable sources that you have found a way to enter the inner sectors of Yuland Weytani, which is not normally open to individuals as... modestly reimbursed as you are. Which is why.." he says, holding out the credits in front of you.

"..we have decided to ask you for a favor. Quite simply, we ask you to bring us some information about a certain project, Codename GLTN. We at Crash Corps are very interested in what Yuland is doing in those secret facilities of theirs, and we'd love any and all information you could provide."

"We trust you will do it." the man says. "And to show our trust, we will give you twenty five percent up front. The rest will come later."

he hands you two credit chips.

"On the other chip's a phone number. call it once you have something for us."

With a grunt from the armoured fellow, the two disappear into the rain, and you are left alone, with what amounts to six month's worth of salary and little time to spare before you have to go to work

the responsible worker you are, you go to work early, and find the gate to Yuland Weytani beset by a group of degens vandalizing the walls.

There are plenty of groups that protest Yuland routinely, from pure-humanists to environmentalists, but these punks seem to be your run of the mill anarchists.

One of them smashes the surveillance camera with what looks like a baseball.

Not your fault, you decide. This is not your problem until your shift starts officially in half an hour.

The disturbance was a distress call that came from Manifacturing Block C, somewhere in the bowels of the building. McErwin marked it as a false alarm, but you see the building being guarded by an automated drone, which begs the question of how he would even had gotten there to come to that conclusion.

The drone will certainly not let you pass without question.
