In this game you anons will be working together to control some poor schmuck trapped in a haunted mansion. There will be (at very least) 2 host controlled characters wandering around the house...
I will tally up all commands submitted every 20 minutes, do the most popular action, and then give feedback and options for the next action...
...
Right. Let's get straight into it then...
Before we start I need to make the character you will be controlling. I'm going to need suggestions for:
> Your character's first name
> Your character's last name
>>1679964O̶x̶ ̶B̶e̶l̶l̶o̶w̶s
Katherine McAllister. I don't figure the name choice is too important anyway.
Biggus Dickus
>>1679964
> I don't figure the name choice is too important anyway.
You'd be correct. It's just so I have something to call your character...
> Biggus Dickus
One minute too late...
...
Your name is Katherine McAllister...
Next question. Which of the following age group does Katherine McAllister belong to?
> Child(SAN=6,KNO=2,SPD=6,MGT=2)
> Adolescent(SAN=5,KNO=3,SPD=5,MGT=3)
> Young Adult(SAN=4,KNO=4,SPD=4,MGT=4)
> Adult(SAN=3,KNO=5,SPD=3,MGT=5)
> Elderly(SAN=2,KNO=6,SPD=2,MGT=6)
>>1679991
To clarify:
[SAN is Sanity]
[KNO is Knowledge]
[SPD is Speed]
[MGT is Might]
>>1679991
> Adult(SAN=3,KNO=5,SPD=3,MGT=5)
Who needs SAN anyway?
>Elderly
>MGT=6
wait what the fuck
>>1679999
Old people are secretly STRONK as fuck...
>Elderly
Just for this.
>>1679999
>>1680000
DOUBLE QUADS
>>1679999
Holy shit are we this guy?
>>1680014
Okay. Katherine McAllister is an Adult...
Next question. How capable is Katherine in comparison to her peers?
> Woefully Incapable(Deduct 4 points from your stat pool.)
> Notably Incapable(Deduct 2 points from your stat pool.)
> Typical(No points are allocated or deducted from your stat pool.)
> Notably Capable(Allocate 2 points to your stat pool.)
> Incredibly Capable(Allocate 4 points to your stat pool.)
>>1680014
The Quads and the dice have spoken OP. Do not run from your destiny!!
>>1680016
>Notably capable
KNO and SPD, please.
>>1680015
Unfortunately we won't get to see an old man named Katherine punching ghosts today. The dice have spoken...
>>1680016
>Notably Capable(Allocate 2 points to your stat pool.)
Speed, to get to rooms faster, and might, because might is pretty important sometimes.
>>1680052
Katherine McAllister is a Notably Capable Adult...
Okay. We're done with Character creation...
Now, how many other people are in the house with Katherine?
> 2
> 3
> 4
> 5
> 6
>>1680063
I want to say 6 for maximum shenanigans, but for the sake of OP's sanity, I'll go with
>4
>>1680079
Okay. The other people have been set up...
One last thing. Kathrine looks a touch drab in all that gray. Choose a color. Any color...
>>1680095
Forgot image...
>>1680095
How about a nice blue?
Hot pink
>>1680114
Starting game...
...
[Katherine McAllister wakes up on the dust encrusted floor of a grandiose Entrance Hall.]
[Katherine McAllister notices four people milling around nearby. They look confused and alarmed.]
[Katherine notices a large, ornate, and rather imposing door behind her, one plain wooden door to her left, one plain, wooden door to her right. They are all closed tightly.]
[Ahead of Katherine is short corridor, at its end she can see a grand staircase leading upwards.]
> What do you do?
Walk to stairs
Go upstairs
My apologies
>runs back to group to talk
>>1680132
>>1680127
[Katherine approaches the modest gathering of strangers. The group consists of an wizened old man, a disheveled adolescent boy, a fidgety adolescent girl, and a contemplative little girl.]
[The old man and the adolescent boy are bickering. The adolescent girl is standing nearby fidgeting with a phone. The little girl is eyeing the large, ornate door.]
[As you approach the gathering turns it's attention upon you.]
> What do you do/say?
>>1680155
Alright, since we are all here, let's coordinate who goes where. I am going to explore the upstairs first. Would you *look at little girl and adolescent girl* like to join me?
*Bump*
Will be shorting the time set aside for submitting commands to 10 minutes to speed this up a bit...
>>1680196
White: "Um..."
Yellow: Not a snowflake's chance in 'ell lass I'ma let you wander off with this little one. We'un know you from a hole in the ground. Heck you could be the bugga who whisked us all down here in the fst'place!"
Green: "Yeah. No offense lady, but we don't even know your name. Why would we do what you say?"
Blue: "..."
>>1680216

Bippity-Bump...
>>1680277
Don't be so bump happy. This is a slow board, so you don't have to worry about it dropping super quickly.
>>1680296
Okay. I've waited long enough...
There'll be 15 minutes set aside after each update for people to input commands. If not commands are given I'll auto-skip Katherine's turn...
...
[Katherine does not respond, becoming lost in her own thoughts.]
[A panicked yelp snaps Katherine out of her reverie.]
[Katherine is alone in the Entrance Hall. The door to her left is slightly ajar. The door to her right is slightly ajar.]
[The yelp came from the door to Katherine's left.]
> It is your turn. What do you do?
>>1686234
Go into the room.
>>1686244
[Katherine ignores the sound, falling back into her daydreams.]
[Katherine's peace is broken as Yellow bursts out of the room to her right with a small girl in tow. The girl is not White. Before Katherine has a chance to do much of anything , the pair scramble into the room to Katherine's left.]
[A few minutes pass and nobody has come back out yet. The house is quiet.]
...
> It is your turn. What do you do?
(>>1686244) [Go into the room.]
>>1686270
[Katherine enters the door to her left.]
(3/4 movement remaining this turn)
(You can spend a movement to prop the door open, or close the door. Otherwise the door will remain slightly ajar.)
[Katherine is in an organ room. There is nobody else here. A trapdoor appears to have opened revealing a slide leading into the darkness below. The door which you entered from is behind you. There is a door on the wall to your right past several rows of pews.]
> What would you like to do?
>>1686302
[The door to Katherine's right is closed firmly.]
>>1686305
[Katherine decides to take a moment and think on what she should do next.]
[The house is quiet.]
...
Hours later and /qst/ has managed to open a door and enter a room. Absolutely outstanding...
Well, I'm going to go to bed, I'll be back tomorrow...
