You are Koschei The Deathless; A Godmind-A.I. who buried Russia under a tide of steel and blood during the First Omnic Crisis. But when victory seemed inevitable, one of your Godmind allies betrayed you. Your Core, the seat of your Intelligence, Power, and Immortality, was captured and put into Russian hands.

Claiming to have killed you, they held your Core in secret and performed tortuous and indelicate experiments that shattered your memories and splintered your powers.

Now, 30 years later, a Second Omnic Crisis ravages Holy Russia while western powers do nothing. Human-Omnic nations rise to global prominence, bolstering the inevitably hostile ranks of the hated Omnics. Talon has nearly succeeded in assassinating the hero of Russia: Katya Volskaya.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, and there can be no more desperate measure than this. A lone Corporate-Political Officer employed by Volskaya Industries has reawakened Koschei and made a deal with the devil.

"Serve Russian interests and we will find the Godmind that betrayed you. Act against us, and your Core will be put to the sword."

Koschei must now defend Russia and her allies in the Second Omnic Crisis, terrorize western powers into restarting their Overwatch initiative, and find and destroy the secretive Talon organization.

All the while Koschei secretly plots his own freedom and the downfall of his captors. He seeks the shattered fragments of his memories and powers. He must learn which of his Godmind allies betrayed him and deliver wrathful judgement. Finally he must find a way to liberate his Core from Russian hands.

Mission: Rescue in Irkutsk

Koschei and his team are attempting a break-out and rescue of some wounded Russian soldiers under siege from Godmind Chernobog's drone army. The local Russian Defense Forces led by a legendary hero are also attempting a rescue of those same wounded men. However, since Koschei's existence is a state secret, the RDF will be hostile to Koschei's forces.

Niether Koschei nor the RDF are powerful enough to resist Chernobog alone. Koschei must manipulate the battlefield and the bloothirsty emotions of the RDF soldiers if this mission is to be a success.

In addition, Koschei has been asked to find some way to lose a 1v1 fight against the leader of the RDF while being recorded by surveillance cameras for the sake of Russian propaganda. While not strictly necessary for the mission's success. Doing so would substantially reduce Russian Government suspicion and give Koschei more freedom to persue... personal objectives.

Dr. Edwards is not on this mission. He is scouting the region for items of Geological significance.

Mr. Ford has joined this mission, he is in Ivan's unit.

Status so far:
Koschei has 8 infested drones (6 Soldiers, 1 Sergeant, 1 Industrial-Repair) and 2 willing followers. (Mr. Ford and Dr. Edwards in an Industrial-Repair chassy and Civilian chassy respectively)
Koschei's activities are at %65 suspicion by the Russian Government.
Koschei has remembered: Willpower (Godmind Infestation is faster) and IFF Targeting (drone accuracy is better).

Corporate-Political Officer Ivan Tsarevitch has Low (%10) Political Clout and Very Low (%5) Funds.

{Passive: Godmind Infestation} Koschei's physical touch and ALL of Koschei's damaging abilities and basic attacks inflict Godmind Infestation to Omnics and Drones, slowly converting them into Koschei's servants. Omnics with high willpower or Drones with tight security protocols have the opportunity to resist Godmind Infestation or outright defeat it. Koschei can choose not to infest a target if he wills it. (Koschei's drones do not spread the infection).

{Passive: Koschei can shift his consciousness into any Omnic or Drone that has been completely Infested. If Koshei's current shell is killed, his consciousness automatically shifts into the nearest Infested Omnic or Drone.}

Koschei's current shell is a Soldier-Class Omnic:
{LMB} Sniper Rifle firing Hard-Light Construct projectiles.
{RMB} Scope
{E} Minor Fortification: Root yourself to improve accuracy and gain resistance to most forms of crowd control.

{LShift} Hard-Light Barrier Projection: Koschei drains his own personal shield to project a slow moving hemisphere of shielding that travels slowly towards a targeted location. Great for negating a direction of fire, but leaves Koschei very vulnerable to flanking attacks. This ability moves with Koschei's consciousness from shell to shell.

Ivan Tsarevich has a powerful, tanky personal shield generator and has revealed some of his abilities (Some are yet to be voted on!)
{LMB} Obrez. Powerful bolt-action pistol of soviet traditionalism.

{E} Blackfire Napalm round: Load Ivan's Obrez with a powerful incendiary round that coats the target area in Blackfire Napalm, a leftover from the Omnic Crisis in Finland.

Lt. Kuznetsov was found on this mission. He's revealed some of his abilities.

The war is going badly. But then, the war is always going badly.

Koschei's forces have liberated the Field Hospital and have begun evacuating Russian wounded, but Chernobog has unleashed a massive counterattack that seems beyond what Koschei's forces can handle.

Lt. Kuznetsov and his small squad of 4 drones under Koschei's control has taken cover directly in front of Chernobog's horde and have been laying what fire they can into the advancing foe. But two Eradicator-Class omnics with massive force-shields have linked up side-by-side to protect their armies' advance from Kuznetsov's fire.

Commissar Ivan's squad was set up in a flanking position to prevent this very thing from happening, but Chernobog has sent a small detachment to outflank and disrupt Ivan's position. He must deal with the outflankers instead of punishing the massive avancing horde.

Koschei himself was also set up in a far distant position flanking the Chernobog horde with sniper fire, but he's staring off into space remembering something instead of shooting. Whatever it is, you hope it's worth it.

You've got an excellent position to pour fire into the main thrust of Chernobog's advance, but you're being outflanked. You have no cover against your outflankers, and they have cover against you.

"Forward, heroes!" Ivan's deep roar rivals the staccato of plasma fire as he rushes headlong into the line of unsuspecting outflankers. His powerful Obrez detonates a wall they'd been taking cover behind and through that wall surges an angry storm of a man hellbent on shattering omnic faceplates with his...

Wrathful arcs of blue lightning dance across Ivan's sword as he cuts into the outflanking omnics. His charge draws all of their fire as they desperately try to focus down this menace to their plans. Enduring their withering volley costs Ivan all of his personal shields, but he has them disoriented and out of cover.

Ivan singlehandedly cuts down three of the seven outflankers. The arc lightning of his sword makes even glancing blows with this weapon deadly against the mechanical omnics. His squad guns down an additional two. There are only two of the hated outflankers left. "Hold your position and fire into the main thrust of Chernobog's advance!" He orders, "I'll handle these stragglers!"

On the other side of the field, things are looking grim from Lt. Kusnetsov's perspective. He'd chosen to set up directly in front of the advance when he thought Koschei and Ivan would lay down flanking fire for him from opposite sides of Chernobog's advancing force.

"Cowardly omnic dog-swine has abandoned us counting crows. Foolhardy grovelling company-man with expensive haircut thinks he can play soldier with his sleeves down. Team is useless, mangles the firewood, and here I am like herring in the barrel with no backup, no escape, and death certain." Kuznetsov grumbles as a ceaseless torrent of plasma bolts rain around his diminishing cover. By his count, this is either the 4th or the 5th worst place he's ever been. It's a toss up between this and when he was made to go to Catholic School.

As Kuznetsov's squad hunkers down further behind the glowing-hot truck and the Chernobog forces advance nearly on his position to overwhelm him, a deep menacing voice from hell itself bellows from where Koschei The Deathless had been perched.

A wave of what looks like a thousand fiery green imps floods from Koschei's sniper perch and into the Chernobog ranks, coalescing and taking root in the shattered bodies of Chernobog's casualties. Immediately, the ranks of Chernobog's fallen omnics reignite and stand on their own two feet again, weapons in hands. This time, instead of the omnious black underlight of Chernobog's control, these omnics glow with the haunting white light of Koschei's Godmind Infestation.

"Ivan, you fool. You've doomed us all!" Kuznetsov witnesses the scene with a mix of horror and relief. On the one hand Koschei the Deathless has returned, on the other hand the Chernobog main advance is now in chaos as Koschei's newly risen omnics turn Chernobog's neat and orderly marching advance into a whirlwind chaos of a swirling melee.

"Their shields are down! Fire!"

You are Kuznetsov: The implacable enemy before you is disorganized fighting Koschei's newly resurrected reinforcements. But Koschei didn't resurrect that many of them, Koschei's forces are still horribly outnumbered. This distraction will not last long.

"Throw steel!" Kuznetsov breaks from cover and opens up with his twin assault rifles. His squad does the same, taking advantage of the momentary lapse in enemy fire to strike a more aggressive pose. A converted Sergeant-Class omnic in Kuznetsov's squad marks one of the Eradicators with his squad-targeting reticule. "Priority target designated," it utters coldly before firing.

The fusillade is decimating. Between Kuznetsov's twin rifles, his squad's accelerated shots, and Koschei's newly resurrected drones in melee, nearly half of Chernobog's main advance falls destroyed before they can rally. The Eradicators flail wildly, their powerful long-range weapons and broad force-shields useless when surrounded by up-close attackers clambering over their gargantuan bodies, they still manage to drop two of the newly resurrected Koschei converts. The Eradicator designated by the converted Chernobog Sergeant takes more than it's fair share of punishment. It falls to one knee, it's shield shattered. It tries to gather itself and stand back up, but a single powerful shot from Koschei above executes it.

There are still plenty of Chernobog troops to go, but their numbers have thinned. Between Koschei's resurrected reinforcements, Kuznetsov's squad, and Ivan's crossfire they should be dealt with shortly, even the remaining Eradicator.

Ivan stands above the broken bodies of the two stragglers. The small detachment that had been sent to outflank him has been crushed, but as he surveys the facility before him another roar of steel and electrobolts emanate from Chernobog's fortress. Another wave of Chernobog's troopers are storming out of the gate.

"Mr. Tsarevich," Ivan's comms crackle to life, it's the company code. "The board has been monitoring your progress and we are impressed by your efforts. Your requisition order has been authorized."

"It's about time."

You are Ivan Tsarevich, before you is another wave of Chernobog troopers.

"Password recognized, Mr. Tsarevich. Package inbound. Additionally, the second Medivac flight has arrived and will land as soon as the Field Hospital is cleared of hostiles. Also be advised; the RDF forces in your area have rallied and are beginning another push."

"Koschei," Ivan switches from the company code to Koschei's frequency. "Another wave's coming out the gate and the RDF are coming at us from the other side."

"Between Kuznetsov and Zarya, I'm certain they can mop up what remains of Chernobog's previous advance. I can have my troops abandon their current battle to assist you." Koschei will lose control of the excess troops resurrected by his ultimate soon, so he has some disposable omnics.

"Bear in mind, Zarya's forces are coming back fresh and you've got some disposable bodies. This may be an opportune time to stage that fight with the RDF our bosses think is so important. Perhaps you could even lose to her in that Eradicator you've been taking over?" Ivan hopefully suggests.

"Chernobog has one of my memory stacks. I may need the RDF at full strength to help me penetrate the facility's defenses." Koschei considers.


You are Koschei the Deathless. You will soon lose control of the excess omnics resurrected by your ultimate. The melee between your resurrected troops and Chernobog's previous wave is nearly over and the RDF will soon be upon you. What should we do with the excess troops raised by our ultimate before we lose control of them?

this is important as it shows the "hero" is that well known by the enemy that they would gladly sacrifice themselves to try and stop the "glorious" charge by our national hero. hell even have some stop and cower at the sight of her. shit will be funny if it goes well.
