Welcome to Tribes Evo, a game where you take control of a tribe and evolve it culturally, technologically, and historically through time. So much stuff happens between threads Ima just post a brief timeline.

Previous Threads (please read if new): http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?tags=tribevo
Discord: https://discord.gg/r36b7By

New Players Guide:
>Every turn is a new week
>Every turn each tribe can do two researches, and as many actions as there are population
>Research - Laws, Technologies, Arts, Customs
>Action - Trading, Hunting, Scouting, Organizing
>At least one player per tribe, no upper limit on tribe members in a given tribe
>Actions and researches must be agreed by majority
> Please read sheet to verify 1) whether a tech/culture has already been researched and 2) whether OP fucked up in updating sheets

Other Mechanics:
> Combat (NPC) - one commander per tribe, RP your battle with given troops
> Culture - Exposure to other player's cultures can have advantageous or adverse effects on your culture
> Nationhood - Once a tribe reaches 1000+ population, they are eligible for nationhood. They will then need a constitution, flag, currency, formal military, and more than one town. The constitution MUST include established geographic borders, name of your state, and governing body.
> Economy (Only when a civ researches currency) - One a civ implements a tax, there will be a stream of income to your treasury. You will be able to purchase additional actions with this income. Too high a tax, however, will affect mood.
Other things:
> I am going to attempt to run this with no dice rolls whatsoever. Whatever you scout around you is what you get because of location, not chance.
> Regarding the map: Keep in mind, I tried to give enough space between civs without being totally separate. One tribe should reach another within one turn. I also wanted to introduce diversity in biomes. Hence, as they say, 'suspend your disbelief'
> No team switching this time
> Not going to add new tribes, these four are it
> Throw on a name if you’re playing
> Discord not required unless you are warring with other players. No secret turns.

LLAMA KINGDOM MAP: Pink dots are pigs, grey are the goats, reddish brown is monkeys.

Researches/Cultural Developments: 2 Allowed
-Tech: Invent The Turtle Ship. The Turtle Ship is a vessel with an metal plating on the top and a collection of spikes sticking out from them. Its main purpose is to make ships wholly un-boardable and better resistant to incoming projectiles.

-Tech: Invent Pig Bronze. Pig Bronze is an alloy of copper and silver by the real world name of Shibuichi, not to be confused with a similar alloy named Shakudo (which is a gold and copper alloy). Pig Bronze is a dark grey metal that in itself is much harder than copper alone, but not quite as strong as bronze. It does however retain its resistance against seawater tarnish much like other copper alloys like brass.

.

.

Actions:
-Metal Smiths:
*Forge lots of Pig Bronze

-Craftsmen:
*Start constructing Turtle Ships with Pig Bronze armoring.

-Masons:
Start constructing a Grand Castle in Swineburgh.

.

.

Diplomatic Actions:
-Demand surrender and compliance with annexation from The Llama Kingdom.

War Actions:
-Keep The Kingdom occupied on a scheduled assault.
--Mornings to Afternoons are bombardment with trebuchets.
--Afternoons to Nights shall be tending to The Siege Camp and scouting the surrounding area for Llama trickery.
--Nights to Mornings are times for letting The Sneaky Goats harass The Kingdom. This will mostly entail picking off night guards, burning buildings, and finding the best places for Wardens and Murder Guards to breech the town.

-Keep The Navy occupying The Bay Area. Search for any presence of a dock in The Llama Kingdom. We don't seem to be too aware if they even have a Navy of their own.

Action: Send a selection of council members to Zyradin to recognize its new Baboon operated government, offering our assistance and hoping to assist them in any way possible while also seeking trade agreements with the new proudly Baboon state.

Action: Reopen talks about the Delta land, hoping to leverage our participation in the regime change of Zyradin to get a better price, or perhaps spoils of war it.

Action: Begin building a road between our land and Zyradin to make trading more accessible. This should connect the current Leopard city to the walled city.

Action: Remove 5% of our workers from mining, dervishes and crafting and put the 15% into a Monkey navy. They will patrol our waters, go on scouting missions to discover new landmasses, and use our understanding of astrology and cartography to guide them.

Action: Speaking of cartography, compare our maps to the maps of the Pigs to ensure the most accurate understanding of our continent and its features.

Action: Send a delegation to the Sloth Bears bearing fruit and eggs as gifts, along with gold craftwork. We seek to open diplomatic relations with them.

Action: We are still waiting to hear how the Goats on the east island received our sailors.

Action: Begin using our nets to capture fish, creating a fishing fleet that operates in the warm waters around the southern island.

Action: Our Dervishes near the Llama Kingdom follow the direction set out by their Pig allies. They keep an eye on the Siege camp and help scout for Llama weaknesses without making any direct contact. In the dead of night, 5 teams of 3 ninja dervish Monkeys sneak into the Llama kingdom to identify their weakest points to focus their attacks. Food stores, infirmaries, etc.

Research: Fishing techniques to improve output. POP GROWTH IS KING.

Research: Two new folk heroes join our pantheon - a shy but observant Mole who learns to get over her hesitations in the end, and a brave but playful Leopard who learns from the other members of our pantheon that fighting and killing aren't always the answer. We strive to create a more peaceful society.

Action: Goats raise the drawbridge permanently, they will only open them at sunset and sunrise, a extra section of guards will be stationed there to check incoming and outgoing goats for actual goat and member species features.
Action: At night, booby traps are put up around the goat fortress.
Action: More Scorpios are built and installed on the walls of our base.
Action: The Cloven Ones are instructed to follow and deliver goat workers to and from their destination daily.
Action: The area around the mine is booby trapped
Action: A new set of escape tunnels are built to get goats as far as possible, or as close as possible, to the eastern island.
Action:Pop stat revamp
Disband Cooks/diplomat in favor of 5% Cloven Ones, 5% Holy Herd
Research: A New order, The Holy Herd is founded. These goats tend to the domestic, nonviolent matters of goat life, Acting as Diplomats, Administrators, Doctors, and police. The Bear captive is made head of this order.
Research: A new form of recognition is founded after a nightmare the Queen had. It involved Wolves in sheep's clothing, working for bears! How dastardly! Every outgoing worker is required to report to the Holy Herd for registration, and they will be given a primitive document, a very small wooden tablet that states their profession, race, and horn size. If they do not have this document when it comes time for them to come home, they will be left out of the city under guard for the night and thoroughly screened the next day, the screening involving questions on goat culture, literacy tests, The name of the current heir, and recent developments in Goatdom.

Wolf sheep have revealed a huge & fatal flaw in the goat defences & are kicking themselves for not noticing it earlier, they spend the week preparing .

>Research1: Swimming
Military learn to swim & get drills on swimming with armour/weapons

>Research2: Sabotouer Wolves
Wolf scouts are trained in better stealth , assassination & sabotage

>PREPARATION
Action: Harvest & hollow bamboo tubes

Action: Produce iron, steel & copper armour & weapons & nets for the army. Lion & gorrilla craftsmen make saddles & bows to equip lion/gorrilla soilders

>OTHER
Action: Create a gated pool on iceberg & lure sharks in to capture

>MAIN ATTACK
Action: 50 Sabatour wolves sneak back into the goat city via the river before the main army arrives. They disable the alarms , siege & drawbridge lowering mechanism. Once the attack starts or they are discovered they will kill wall guards.

Action: Ursalonian army of 600 at night walks to the side of the river facing them (100 staying behind for defence). They use bamboo pipes to breath underwater & swim to the undefended section of goat city. Lion archers swim to the other side of the river to provide ranged assistance & killing any goats attempting to escape. If they see any goats fleeing into tunnels, they are to mark it's location & start a fire at the entrance to smoke them out. Once the city is destroyed, squads of 15 from the army will head out with gorrilla cavalry & assist capturing as many of the residents as possible. Killing any who resist.

Action: After the attack on Goat City starts, 100 gorilla cavalry will raid the residential regions & houses, capturing & chasing down citizens with nets

Action: Capture leadership if possible

Pigs develop pig bronze, which they use to build their turtle ships. Llama navies can't compete! Or if they can, you aren't entirely sure; the only ships you see are commercial fishing vessels, not rigged for war.

A grand castle is being built in Swineburgh. It will take two more weeks to complete.

Pigs demand llama surrender. Llamas aren't so eager to give it up yet. They suffer significant losses. Most of the countryside you raid are unwalled and unfenced hamlets of farmers, so it is extremely easy to take over. The sheer number of the towns are the only thing hindering your progress to the walled capital further north. As you push the llamas further, they grow more concentrated at the peninsulas. You manage to gain their corn crop by force, increasing your population rate!

The monkey council recognizes Zyradin officially. You have access to many trade agreements with them now! They are very interested in your various fruits, and can trade raw resources, such as ores, or even ships they made copying pigship designs. How did we get these designs you say? Oh, don't worry about that brother baboon, we have them and thats what matters!

The Zyradinians offer a discount of 50% off on the delta land. It is complete with a fleet of five pigships and a walled town of its own!

Roads are beginning to be built towards the Baboon City.

Monkeys are assigned into the monkey navy.

Monkeys now have as much knowledge of the world as the pigs do, and vice versa.

Sloth bears accept your gifts greedily, but are skeptical to trade. They would be much more comfortable trading if you had anything strategic to offer.

Monkeys are just chilling near the East Island goats. Not sure how they receive them so far...

A fishing fleet in constructed. More population growth!

Dervishes don't use their full potential as no walled cities have been met yet. Perhaps next turn, they will finally find them in the northern peninsula?

Monkeys join raiding the countryside corn from llama towns while some pigs aren't looking. Wow, what a great crop!

The monkeys add new folk heroes to their pantheon, and improve fishing techniques. Great!

Goats invoke a strict schedule on their drawbridge. It is extra guarded this week.

Many traps are scattered around the fortress. It proves painful when the Ursalonians raid.

More Scorpios are built and installed on the walls.

The Cloven Ones keep close tags on the workers, making sure none stray from the flock.

More escape tunnels are built, this time going eastwards.

A new order, the Holy Herd, is formed. They manage domestic matters that the goats may face.

The battle at the town will be its own post.

Ursalonians learn how to swim. It is difficult to do with armor, so they just learn how to swim effectively without. The wolves trained in sabatoge pay particular attention to these lessons.

They try to create a gated pool, but don't have the necessary capital to make it yet! (also monkeys need to pay up for their roadbuilding too, getting to that next turn)

Large stockpiles of supplies for the raid are crafted.

Meanwhile on the homefront, Pandas have settled with their mighty navies and army preaching a One Bear Government. They manage to persuade many bear citizens, who join their side and help host their citizens! A de facto panda colony is carved from your kingdom, and the defense are too conflicted to know what to do!

The northeastern peninsula is flooded by llama refugees. They plead entry, offering great fruits and greater rewards if you help them take back the mainland.

Wolves attempt swimming inside, but cannot go through the stone wall and grate. They decide the better plan would be to bring siege weaponry so spend a turn bringing ballistas and battering rams to the siege site. A field of bears in the distance fire shots to scare the goats, setting some alight to try and fire up the town, but are unsuccessful in this effort. Many are shot by the walled scorpios and ballistas

Wolves from the west come in huge numbers, having their own siege weapons! They demand blood for blood, payment for the deaths of their wolf cousins. They set sail some few boulders to show they mean business, creating panic and havoc for the city. They warn the Ursalonians to stay out of their way, or they will have it too.

esearch 1: National Mint
A mint is developed in bear mountain to produce caps faster. All current marble is converted into caps

Research 2: Convert weapons & armor into steel

>War
Action: 30 Saboteour wolves dress as sheep infiltrate & sabotage the goat nation aiming to make the wolf invasion significantly more effective by disrupting resources, disabling defences & picking off the little military goats have if given the chance.

Action: 5 Saboteour wolves infiltrate & act as spies with the wolves. The wolves are helpful with the goats at the moment, but may pose a threat in the future. Ursalon needs to know what they're doing/their forces & tech.

>Diplomacy
Action: Bears will not attack an unknown threat in an unknown land for the neutral llamas, especially with all the threats to the kingdom currently present. Ursalon is for the defence of the mountain range & it's citizens. They will however happily keep them safe & give them a new home in ursalon. Any who don't want this will be fed, resupplied with fish & escorted out of the kingdom to continue their journey.

Action: Bears surround the panda colony with the military & send in diplomats. Pandas are directly invading bear land. Clearly the pandas dont want bear blood spilt & niether do bears. Nation's become stronger by joining forces, pandas have not. The world is full of rising nations who are growing extremely powerful & pandas will be stronger as part of ursalon. Offer them a choice, They can join ursalon, accepting it's customs & citizens, & grow far more powerful while having a large nation to protect them, or they can peacefully leave ursalon & allow diplomats to come with them to discuss at the very least trade & terms with pandas, invading the land we fought for for so long is unacceptable.(edited)
Action: Invite Liontopia to this month's tournement. While their, discuss the possibility of reunification with lion leadership. The world is full of threats (As the wolves, goats, pandas & llamas have demonstrated) & the only hope is to stand together as a singular strong nation

> Other
Action: Build a wall connecting gorrilla & Bear peninsulas

Action: llamas who accept & become ursalon citizens will be integrated & allowed to the tournement. Any who say no will be fed, resupplied with fish & escorted out of the kingdom & asked where they're going.

Action: If pandas join ursalon, they are invited to the tournement. IF pandas say NO to BOTH choices & decide they're settling in ursalon, they will be treated as an invading force & killed/captured, with their supplies & ships being taken

Researches/Cultural Developments: 2 Allowed
-Tech: Invent Canal Locks. Canal locks are sections of canals with gates on either side to let sections fill up with water and carry a ship along stretches of land that vary in height safely.

-Tech: Invent The Saddle. Now that we have Shock Cavalry we should assist them with being able to stay on their horses during their charges. With any hope this will make them more confident to engage in combat due to them being much harder to knock off.

Actions:
-Metal Smiths:
*Keep all our copper forged into Pig Iron.

-Craftsmen:
*Craft more Turtle Ships at Baytown.

-Masons:
*Keep building The Swineburgh Castle
*Start constructing The Grand Canal, starting from The West. The Grand Canal shall be a lengthy canal that shall stretch from The West Ocean to The Bay to better let our fleets travel between them without circling the whole continent. A map of where The Grand Canal will be constructed will be included in The Turn Pic.

.

.

Diplomatic Actions:
-Issue another demand for surrender from The Llamas. We'll still be insisting that they accept cooperation with their full scale annexation.
-Allow The Goats to have their Nations Meeting within Swineburgh. Head Representatives for each guild will be in attendance, excluding The High Captain and The Guildsmen of The Warfare Guild, They shall all be occupied with The Llama war. They shall send lower tier representatives instead.

War Actions:
-Keep The Naval Blockade of The Llama's Western Coast strong. No ships pass through without Pig Clan approval.
-Commandeer the stray fishing vessels we see abandon around the shorelines.
-Continue to march The Invading Ground Forces onward. Overtake every population of Llamas we see along the way. The Annexation shall be a full scale takeover, not simply an occupation.
-Order a field report to be made by The Guild of Warfare telling us about our experiences so far with The Llama front. What kind of weapons they use, how they fight back if they even do, are there high civilian casualties, and just how hard are the soldiers raiding them.

Research: Sewage. We dedicate ourselves to think and party, but we also need to be as clean as possible. ¡Impossible! ¡We can not poo and throw our wastes!

Action: The scout monkeys are hungry, they've staying in the goat island for too long and have to return to apepopotamia; for they miss they families and have a duty to fulfill. The monkeys forage whatever they can from goat farms and the surrounding land to resupply and return.

Action: We buy the land Zyradin has offered us. This money will be good for their rebuilding. We also give them a copy of our city charts we did during the monkey snakku infiltration, to indirectly show them our involvement in their victory and is also a good tool for them.

Action: The leopards cubs finish their programmed studies in the ape university and now they join the seminar for training. They are growing strong!

Action: We build our sewage system out of stone.

Action: We begin to dig our qanat in all cities to increase the terraforming

Bears employ a national mint and convert everything to steel.

The wolves fail to infiltrate the town as there is no possible way to sneak in. The sea wolves manage to cause heavy damage to the western wall from range, but still take on many casualties. Bears learn that the sea wolves have technology exactly like theirs, and rely heavily on siege equipment.

Bears surround the Panda Colony. They get the message and leave, taking many converted bears with them. They propose a trade of institutions, giving their missions into your land and accepting some of your missionaries of course.

Liontopia brings some of their citizens to the tournament. The results will be in the anchor.

Pigs manage to finally accept the llamas, with a paltry population of 200 when the dust settles. Their collective mood decreases your mood drastically.

More turtle ships are constructed.

Saddle and canal locks are formed.

No more llama hips sail through the coast. Some panda ships do sail, but they are only patrols from the west.

The War Report shows incredibly high civilian casualties. Their weapons are completely inferior, only recently inventing copper weaponry but having limited copper supplies. An estimated 1,800 llamas have died since the war began, and you have the remains, along with a great established Llama Capital. They have a whole fleet of fishing ships you have taken over, and farm crops you already have. THe farms are destroyed right now, but once rebuilt can add a massive population boost.

Pigs attend the nations meeting in Swineburgh. It is just them and the goats. What is to be discussed?

They and monkeys also have researched surgery. Gonna edit that into monkey next turn.

>Research 1: Automate biology & psychology research at the hospitals
It has become standard practice for the hospital to conduct a full mental and physical examination of species in order to understand how best to treat them. (So atm, bears, wolves, lions, gorrillas, llamas, goats, sheep, gazelles, & bighorns, & anytihng else that stops by in the future, such as panda missionaries).

>research 2: Improve medicine with bandages & wound cleaning before sealing.

>Research 3: Trebuchet

It's easiest to just chunk this turn based on what race each action has to do with so:

>Ursalon/llama
Action: Grow the new produce llamas brought
Action: llamas were excelent farmers back home, allow them to be the nation's farmers, living a comfortable, safe life in the beautiful fields of the food peninsulas. Incorporate any new llama farming methods.
Action: Throw a celebration for the llamas, they have been through much & are welcome & safe in ursalon. Celebrate all the races of the nation & it's newest member race.

>Panda
Action: Send a diplomatic envoy to pandaland. While we respect their wish to be a singular race nation, it'd be wise to ally with ursalon for progress & security. Start with finding out what they have to trade.

>Wolf
Action: Spies find out where the wolves have come from exactly.
Action: Spies use wolf psychology to help spread the idea that ursalon could be an excellent ally, both now & in the future (They currently house happy wolves + the enemy of my enemy is my friend, very powerful, & similar in alot of ways.)
Action : Send a diplomatic envoy lead by whitefang to meet the wolves & offer ursalonian support if they wish it. Warn wolves about goat tunnels, use of traps & their allies. If they accept assistance, provide medics & begin a siege using trebuchets & flaming boulders from the northern & eastern sides of goat city.

>Goat
Action : Pillage the residential farm land for new crops
Action: Poo in the river flowing into goat town to encourage desease spread
Action: Set up ambushes surrounding goat land. If citizens or goats attempt to leave for farming, mining, attack or escape, they are to be killed/captured.

>Gazzelle
Action: Wolf scouts have seen the gazelle town across the river when previously scouting, & ursalon spies noticed the large group of reinforcements marching to the city last week. What's the point in a siege if the goats can get outside help? The main ursalon army of 700 attacks the new & undefended gazelle town at night aiming to raize it to the ground, killing/capturing & looting it for all it has.
-Wolf infiltrators disable defences
- Army attacks & kills everybody who stands & fights within the town
- Gorrilla cavalry capture fleeing
- Loot the town if successful
