>In 1910 the damn Martians came. They razed our cities, melted our icecaps and destroyed our way of life. Then the rubes all died off from diarrhea or some shit.
>It's 1931 now, and there's only one city above sea-level: Refuge City. 10 million people live here, the last of humanity. English, American, Italian, Russia, Chinamens, they're all here. And with humanity and the hope of rebuilding, comes the potential for strife and crime.
>Find your way in the last city. Join a family, conquer the streets, and rise above the rest to become a Crime Lord of Refuge city

Each turn you'll have the opportunity to perform your money making task. Successful completeion of the task earns you that much money.

So if your thing is petty theft and gambling, you can choose each turn to do either or both. Successfully pulling off petty theft gets you 1 dollar, gambling nets you 3

Or, if you happened to roll armed robbery and gun running, you could potentially earn 19 dollars in a turn. But, gun running and armed robbery are harder to pull off.

Your family size depends how many guys can assign to "Jobs", and how many you can assign to patrolling your neighborhood. You will also have hero characters with special abilities

>Refuge city, population 10,000 million
>Located in the Tibetan mountain range, what was once a mere town at a high elevation is now the last dry patch of land on earth. Easily six times the size of London, Refuge city has been partitioned off into areas controlled by countries. Population size is supposed to factor in, but money and good ol' fashioned imperialism has certainly played a part as well. Most of the poor, or those who simply lost everything, live in the "Fringes", the crowded areas full of people that fill up the areas inbetween country-controlled districts.

The O'Conners
Mott Haven Street

>The English inside the English district are still throwing up their skyscrapers, as if the fate of the world depends on. There are now the skeletons of at least six skyscrapers just on the edge of the English fringe. All six of them have building materials we can steal. Indicate who you're assigning to this job.
>The Pot O' Gold is now at capacity as far as customers goes. In order to upgrade it from a two-room shack to a small two room shop, we'll need $50. Luckily the income generated from the upgrade will eventually cover the costs. Indicate if and what turn you wish to make this purchase. Also indicate which men will be running the den today.
>Mott Haven street is your turf, and there's always a need to patrol it. Indicate which men you'll assign to it.
>One street over on Janalle Street, the Dover Boys are causing trouble. They've starting sending men by Mott Haven to stir up disorder and steal from street vendors. The Dover Boys have two strongholds on their street, a bar and a horse stable. You may attack one of the locations if you wish, or simply continue to patrol your street.

Yeah I could probably work another gang. I'm taking a two day break after today and getting back to it on monday, but if you wanted to pick a nationality you could.
>>

>Rival gang on our turf? Nah, that's not standing, mon. Not today, not ever. We'll stain them White Hats red. Clayton, Blake and Omar will sort things out with a drive-by at that grocer store the White Hats hang out. That Bentley is surely serving us well.

>Terrence's gotta stay on patrol right now. Let the mon lay low after that close encounter with a shotty. Clyde will go with him, jus' to be sure.

> Lamar, Malcolm and Teddy will stay on the ganja biz this time. An' maybe lil' T will learn something from the brothers.

>Last time, Leroy and Junior had some big time luck in finding them guns jus' laying around. Let's see if that streak keeps on giving. Set them on prowling the streets for the Thieving biz.

Cool I was thinking English, but taking in people who survive gang power struggles while on the wrong side. So if there is an internal war, he recruits the best of the losers.
>>
>>1646752
if this is not feasable, I'll just go pure English, London gang.
>>
>>1646765
>>1646767
English is fine, in this game at least the emphasis is on family so an english gang like the pinky blinders would be better then say, a guy just recruiting men

Dont send anyone and don't give a single word to these Marcetti pricks.

Send Lucio to deal the guns with the Austrians.

Send Antonio and Marco to deal drugs. It's time for Marco to start learning the trade and Antonio can use a break from being near all those meatballs.

Send Angelo and Silvio to guard our Street.

Cool no issue. Danny Halfcastle inherited leadership of the Whitechapel Rippers when his father died in the Martian Invasion. Leading as many of his gang out of the cities, and then onto a stolen Navy destroyer as the sea rose. Making his way to Refuge City, he sold the boat to the government in exchange for allowing him and his into the city, as well as their base.

Do you want me to roll for stuff now, or is there anything else I need?

We'll let Svetlana run the food market, and if anyone should mess with it, they'll know they are messing with every single russian in the city. It should stay fairly secure.

>Volga Street is your turf, and there's always a need to patrol it. Indicate which men you're assigning to it.
We'll have Joesph run it solo today, I'm sure he could handle it

>The protection racket must be run, and the people are more willing then they have been in the past. Indicate who you're assigning to it.
We'll have Vladmir and Grigori make sure the Russians know who own the streets

>The Serbs have entered a very friendly partnership with us, and we continue to delivery them weapons. Indicate who you're assigning.
The Serbs want guns and we want money, it is a beautiful arrangement that Leon and Ivan will take care of.

There rival gang can wait until we bolster our own forces, but we'll have Alexei and Petriniki stake out the two locations and gather as much info as possible.

Sergei will go out and start pulling in our closest friends into the gang, as our manpower is quite low according to our needs.
