You open a broadband channel and adjust the focus of your primary communications array to encompass the entire fleet, instead of tightbeaming your communication to the BIA ship, which appears to be the Flagship of this particular fleet despite it's tiny non-standard hull design. Eleven little signal boxes pop up on the comm board, indicating that the entire fleet has received your hail and are now listening.

You snap into the pickup. Ten minutes later (due to light lag) you receive a response, however the only ship returning your signal is the BIA flagship corvette. It's communication window expands to fill your entire screen with the dour face of a surprisingly young woman with the recognizable charcoal colored BIA uniform, adorned with bright brushed chrome insignia that indicate she is a Sim-Admiral, or someone from a non-Star Navy branch of the military (the BIA in this case) who has been given a rank which is equivalent to Admiralty. "From this point on you will cease any and all broadband communications, Acting Captain, you will report the status of all PDUN starships in this sector without embellishment, you will apprise me of the current state of PDUN assets in this sector, and you will turn over all recovered Black Boxes you may have salvaged from other PDUN starships, you will report to me whether or not you know if any other PDUN Black Boxes were captured by the enemy, you will report to me the status, location, and displacement of any enemy vessels in the sector".

Like all BIA intelligence officers you've ever met, her speech is straight to the point, without accent or inflection, and totally lacking in emotion. Her eyes look like a pair of flat grey coins, the irises either abnormally monotone or artificial.

At this point the two Heavy Cruisers and the BIA Corvette are accelerating rapidly now, burning at 10G. Racing starward they will arrive in only a matter of hours.

Realizing that it would be better not to piss off the friendly ships bearing down on you, you command your flight officer to shut down the drives and begin putting together a full after action report of the First Battle of AD-Leonis. You also make a copy of the battle logs and move it to your personal hand terminal. Once the report is compiled, edited, and the encrypted Black Box data attached you point your communication antenna at the corvette and tightbeam it to them. About nine minutes later the approaching ships slow markedly to a tolerable 1G burn, seemingly mollified by your compliance. After about an hour your comms officer indicates that your sensors detected them deploying a Schaad equipped courier drone, that the drone jumped in the direction of Earth, and that the entirety of the Rescue Fleet are accelerating on a trajectory that will take them right to the cobbled together life pod-Heavy Carrier bastard where you stowed the surviving crewpeople.

The BIA Corvette tightbeams you a simple text message requesting that you hold your position and wait for the arrival of a reply from Earth giving you new orders. They also ask if you require any addition help.

Is there anything else to need, or will you simply wait for the courier pod to return?
