Lysanicus. Mudryan. Askelias. Argantius. Undereth.

Five great cities, and five great kings to lead them. Festivals have been had, temples dedicated and heroes forged. But now the Kings must unite, for there is a threat to the east, and all the known world will burn if it is not stopped on the shores of Greece.

Have to ask, but wtf was troy doing during the middle of this did those upstart high walled bastardso sell us out?
>>
>>1582582
YES THEY FUCKING DID. I MOVE FOR A INVASION OF TROY AFTER WE FINISH THE PERSIANS.

WITH ASKELIAS LEADING THE WAY
>>
>>1582597
That or they just stright up went around via land route but even then I don't think the Persians are arrogant enough to leave a city like troy untiuched, that means either the Trojans betrayed us, they fought back and were defeated or they are facing a seige, gods know that the bastardso have enough men for it.

Hopefully the sea focused city states will be able to block the sea for the persians
>>
>>1582606
Maybe so. Either way, Fuck Troy.

Lysanicus

>The Rainy Season has begun! The heavens open and the rains pour. The streets of Lysanicus are awash and the people of the great city have erected tents over causeways. The earth is soft now, and ideal for building. The great men of your city have gathered to discuss a new idea: A horse racing Colosseum!
>Begin digging the grounds for a new entertainment venue!
>No.

Lysanicus's wings take him high above the ocean. He escorts the trireme back from the Island of the Lotus Eater from the air, and the people are amazed! They gather at the great harbor to welcome their great hero! After several hours of warm welcomes and meeting with the people, Lysanicus goes to the Temple to meet with Persephone! She rushes to him, informing the hero that his wings are attractive and also she is with child. His child, specifically. No sooner has these words left her mouth then the temple is filled with smoke. Lysanicus pumps his wings while protecting Persephone, sending the smoke away. In the center of the temple stands a three-headed dog

>Having thoroughly won the drinking contest, Odius stumbles out of the inn.
>"Odius" A voice says. "Are you not my champion? What are you doing drinking yourself to death when you should be bringing it to the Persians instead?
>Odius looks around, where was the voice?
>Odius!" The voice said. "You are the champion of Ares, and you will be in the thickest of fighting!"
>Odius is attacked by ravens, who flock onto his body. A moment later they dissapear, and Odius is on a slope. Massive rock walls line along either side of him. To his rear are minotaurs, and ahead.....thousands. Odius recognizes them. Persians.

Odius is now at Fools Pass. Roll 1d10 to leap into the battle.

>The Rainy season has begun! The heavens open and the rain pours. The fields are starting to flood though, as are the foothills. In fact, there seems to be a lot of flooding going on around you. People are streaming in from the countryside to hide inside the city, and the wisemen are advising we start digging trenches to divert any flood waters.
>Dig the Trenches, call all the people inside the walls.

If the King of Gods has seen fit to dispense this displeasure on us then let it be so. Talia did what she thought was just, if this is the price then so be it. As for the child, let it be known that the King of Undereth is not a child killer, allow the priestess to keep the child. However for the safety of the citizens and of the child itself it is bound to the temple grounds never to leave unless there is great need. Warn the citizens of this and make sure to cordoned off a section that let's them know of the child's domain. The king shan't let the child be starved for affection however if any be brave enough to greet the child may it be so.

Meanwhile on the tides of battle Talia spots the Persians and a great vigor courses through her veins, here is a chance to do good for all Greeks! Talia raises the Promethues spear and roars for all brave Greeks to the attack!

Tarsus whistles, and his battle donkey leaps over the heads of the minotaurs. With one fluid motion the hero jumps on the back of his stead and begins the dance of death. One arrow. Two arrows. Three arrows. Four. How many Persians will hit the floor? Tarsus ensures it is many. His hands become a blur, the shafts are loosed so quickly they change pitch. Lysanicus pumps his wings, bends his knees, and leaps into the air. Never before has he worked himself this hard, his feathers flashing before his eyes. The dog snaps its heads at the hero, catching his leg in the middle's jaws. Lysanicus drives his blade into the eye of the dog. It screams, shaking the stones in the walls. The middle head tosses Lysanicus to the left head, but before it can clamp down the hero jams his sword into its throat. Gripping the seeds tightly in hand, Lysanicus throws the seeds into the throat of the left head. Using the hilt of his sword as leverage, the hero then leaps out of the dog's mouth.

Lysanicus falls violently to the floor, bouncing off the marble and rolling to a stop. The dog rears all three heads, then pauses. The left head cocks itself in confusion, then all three heads explode.

An olive tree, tall and majestic, grows out of the heads of the Beast of Hades.

Persephone runs to Lysanicus and helps him to his feet. They embrace, the goddess shedding a single tear of relief. Then the couple turns, still holding each other, to gaze at the majesty of the olive tree.

>The sun sets on The Great Northern woods. The men of Mudyran grunt, straining on the ropes to free Hapsus's Trireme. The last vestiges of light flicker through the trees, then, darkness. The crew successfully defended itself from the Satyrs, and now the goat men are strangely absent. In fact, there are no sounds at all in the woods. No birds, predators or insects.
