You are Jacob Marshal A currently unemployed mercenary who picked his cousin, Nina Tiller, up from one of Florida's fine airports just in time for a blacklight outbreak. Now that he finds himself turned into one of the 'Evolved' in the redzone he must survive long enough to find a way to get himself, Nina, and whoever else he chooses out alive. Will he Succeed?

The hunters, ravenous and hungry tear their way through parts of the survivors wall of gunmen. The one that's trying to hound you away from them keep making short lunges and wide swipes, He seems desperate for a kill, It pulls it's arm back, about to lunge, now's your chance.

+2 if you can come up with a way to wound it that would slow it down.
+2 if you can express just how these virus monsters make you feel.

You give the Hunter a firm push and force it to stumble back onto it's hind legs. you take advantage of it, and wrap both hands around the hind left leg of the hunter and begin sprinting. Your pulling tears apart the leg of the beast as you fly towards the group of survivors effectively severing it.

ignore the roll.
>>
>>1503118
Needless to say, your loving your claws right now, unfortunately, the survivors are having a mixed experience. The hunters have started to slow down on their advance but the survivors are still barely managing to recover. Several well timed shotgun blast buffet a pair of the best. One of these predatory mutants is getting ready to pounce, and the survivors are about to bear their shotguns at the one with their comrade in it's jaws.

>Target one of the recently wounded beast.
>Get the one that's about to pounce.

Please write in how you want to attack it.

The tendril claw grabs hold of the hunter and pulls you forwards, your swing at it mid air mars it's face. tearing out a strip of mutated hide and splinters a tooth. As you cock your arm back to strike again you smile. Then they hit you, the spiker needles. peirce your back as the hunter swipes across your arm. the hunter appears to be getting ready to leap.

>>
Lunging forwards faster than you've ever moved in your life, you can feel the exertion in your arms as they're split into multiple tendrils and fly forwards into the chest of the beast attempting to flee.

"Hey freak, don't you know that being god's mistake is hard on the heart!"

they twist their way across the inside, making their way through the upper torso and squirming as much as possible. The sound of ribs cracking and howls of agony being cut short echo through the street as finally the tendrils make a weak enough hole that as you kick the beast off of your tendrils they pull out a large mass of meat and organs.

You can't help but feel a sense of ecstasy wash over your body.

You've upgraded pick one.
>weapon upgrade. (which weapon.)
>Physiology upgrade.

(yes, I melded the upgrades for sensory and general, it's now covered by your physiology.)
>>
>>1504160
>Physiology upgrade.

I say we work on our base abilities before going too far into weapon upgrades. All the fancy weaponry in the world isn't going to help us if we're bad at taking a hit. Besides, we seem to be doing pretty decently with the weaponry we have now.
>>
>>1504160
>>Physiology upgrade.
>>
>>1504183
Anon, so far your not doing a lot of damage, these base hunters have HP of around 150 and have ben taking hits from the survivors. your claws are doing around 50 damage a piece and only to single targets, your tendrils 25 a piece. (with this action being at such a high DC gave an additional boost to damage.) And your Needler does 25 damage a hit with the ability to give two hits a round at this point. Your AOE and wide arch attacks are also very lacking.
>>
>>1504160
>>weapon upgrade. (which weapon.)

Anyone have any opinions on which weapon we should upgrade? If I switch my vote, I'm inclined to go with tendrils. They have a lot of utility.

You looks up from the hunters corpse and back on the fight on hand, The survivors are actually faring very poorly now, their ranks have been broken and one of the spikers has been killing most of the marksmen, and several of the hunters are ripping into the unarmed now, it's become a massacre. Begging, cries to god, even impotent screams of rage fill the streets. Those able are still putting up an admirable resistance, felling the most wounded of the hunters, but it's hardly enough.

One of the hunters is about to jump into the crowd, and the spikers seem like they are going to keep firing upon the survivors. You think you hear the regular infected about to break through the barricades you made.

>attack the hunters.
>Assault the Spikers.

currently your have Tendrils, which are more like long taloned tentacles than Hellers weird meat webbing. Your claws are very standard, you even have a Needle shooter, it makes fart sounds every time you shoot it.

Items include a a double barrel sawn off shottie, an automatic AR15, and a knife you took off a Blackwatch commander, the knife seems to have a on off function and seems to do more damage to blacklight infected creatures.

>>1507143
This is possible but won't be easy to do.

Considering the survivors would have the hunters and spikers after them if they fled, and your barricades are cars piled on top of each other in alleyways to reduce the number of normal infected pouring into the street, it's going to be difficult doing both while minimizing casualties.

You tackle the Hunter that's going after the Survivors and begin to yell at the top of your lungs, if they even are lungs anymore.

"GET OUT OF HERE! RUN!"

The spikers don't seem to care and just keep making a spray, one of them even targets you.

Swinging one of your tendrils into a building you can't help but to breath heavily. Just as a hunter and some spiker quills are about to reach you, you pull yourself into the building as fast as a speeding car on an empty highway. You pull yourself up to the roof and use your tendrils to speed your way out of the range of vision of the hunters.

Your winded, but you think you lost them. It only took multiple city blocks and a bit of circling but your free of the predators. Your everything hurts, and kind of feels empty. It takes some deep breaths but you do finally have your breathing under control.

prototype 2, where you play an angry nigger who is given superpowers by a cis white male and then proceeds to kill several hundreds of thousands of people as collateral damage in his rampage to murder the white man who picked him up and gave him a chance at a better life than suicidal footsoldier for the kikes who run blackwatch.

Alexis- A thrill-killing bitch alternating between flirting with us and wanting to make a slushy out of our balls while we're strapped to a surgery table

Chink who's name I forget- The guy we can't exactly take in a head to head fight the first go around. Probably kills someone we know just to be a bastard

CEO man- Alex Mercer 2.0, only with more Machiavellian scheming, hedonistic sociopathy, a god-complex, and oh-sweet-Jesus levels of sadism. Using a calm and friendly mask to hide raging insanity and AM levels of hatred. Never compromising, no line he won't cross

The Flash is loud, and you hear plenty of screaming as Anvil and Brothel take point, you just behind them. The gunfight is brief, Anvils massive flak suit takes a few shots for the group but it's not much after that. a quick sweep of the room and all that's left are a few bodies on the floor with the three of you standing over them, as well as a few cages of, wait there's people in there.

"Iisus Khristos, captives."

You hear what sounds like clapping coming over from Madison's bed.

"Hey Nina, why don't you get yourself and Maddie ready for the day, I'll make breakfast. And close your mouth, you'll catch fly's."

You take a minute to think as you begin looking through the cupboard and the fridge. as your mind wonders off you start boiling oatmeal, while you prepare a few bowls by lining them with bread and cutting fruit. You actually find a blender and start mixing a banana, water, and some other soft fruits together to get something that almost a cream. you mix it with the Oatmeal before pouring them into the bowls and to you great surprise it actually taste pretty good.

Nina comes out of the restroom after a while. She seems rather frustrated with you until she see the food. she takes a few minutes processing what she sees but eventually she seems to be having trouble staying upset with you.

"Just because you know how to make oatmeal and fruit look fancy doesn't mean your forgiven."

With a very forced smile. "Just eat your breakfast you insufferable brat."

One meal later and your just enjoying the frustrated look of joy and irritation on your cousins face. "thank you for the meal." she hisses through clenched teeth.

You spend the next several minutes getting yourself ready for the day. oddly cleaning yourself doesn't seem to involve actual showering anymore, simply standing under water seems to do the trick. Can't help but feel pretty odd about that.

Given your injuries the other day and how exhausted you still are from that, it might not be the best idea to go out today.

Farewell Anon.

You rub your eyes a bit and decide to go find out where your cousin went. After noticing her Rifle is missing you head up to the rooftop and sure enough she set up a few targets. You don't open the door quickly and make sure it's quiet when you close it behind you. She's very focused on the target the cans she has standing. The rifle barks, but the cans still stand.

"how does this-"

Cutting her off. "And hand off the magwell, grip the barrel shroud!"

"the what?"

You move her hand off the magazine and port and move it so she's gripping the barrel. You relax your tone. "Now just remember this stance and steady your grip, then fire."

she seems a bit perplexed but goes back to looking down the sights.

It’s a rather uneventful run back to the Apartment building. Looking down onto the streets it looks like a swarm of those shamblers has stumbled into the open and are occupying the ground entrance. You might have to clear that out later, if only to keep Blackwatch from firebombing the street below. Going to the roof entrance it looks like Nina Set up a simple barricade, the sign she left reads “use window please.” Naturally when you get through the window your greeted with Madison reading a book, Nina sleeping on the couch, and there’s a cellphone with a bluetooth sitting on the table.

We honestly need to advance the plot kek. What else do we need to get out of the red zone?
>>
>>1525679
Your going to need a pass into the greenzone or yellowzone.

getting in yourself is as simple as disguising yourself as someone who actually belongs there, although it's getting through the gate that will be the real problem.

as for getting Nina and Madison out of here, that might require some very well defended vehicles, a lot of combat competence, and being able to move quickly to get them out of the line of sight once they're over the wall. generally, this is a case where your going to want to think like a human trafficker.

alternatively, you can work with someone who can get you and some other people into a given region. the question on that one is are you willing?

Her voice is really strained. actually speaking might be taking a lot out of her.

"Well, at least your improving I guess-"

"Jacob."

"oh, yes, what is it?"

"you said that the group who took over the hospital was holding me for ransom. Winston, is he going to be ok? is my granddad going to be ok?"

Get him away from the building with the girls in it. They're in no shape to be dealing with an Evolved. Hopefully he'll follow us and not investigate the building. I think we're more interesting than the building anyway. From the way he charged at us, I don't think he's in a reasoning mood.
