Or, you could always browse the internet, you've installed Tor, and setup a few homemade firewalls and vpns on your laptop, the establishment shouldn't be tracking your research very easily. If they attempt to infiltrate your laptop and learn your secrets, you've setup thermite charges to melt its interior at the first sign of tampering. Of course, the establishment is crafty, and you can never be sure...
