It’s a few minutes before you hear the clomping of boots outside the medbay. Slow response times, you think. You consider correcting them, but realize that if you ever had to attack this place, you could exploit that. Maybe when I rule here, in name and title instead of power alone, you decide. Five men march in, cramming into the relatively small medbay. They all have Imperial-ordered blaster rifles held lazily, and they relax even more when they see your badges. Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy, is all you can think.
After identification is sorted, they escort you to the Clan Council chambers, leaving two of their number and your Darkeyes behind. You stare up at the council, expectant.
