RULES:
1. There are none.
You are a Cazador, AKA a Tarantula Hawk Wasp. You hate everything that isn't you or another Cazador. However, there's something special about you. The human scientists who've observed you have noticed your increased intelligence, size, control of your swarm, and sting deadliness. Thus, they've begun to call you CAZADOR PRIME.
You have one hive, in the Australian wastes. It contains roughly 200 Cazadors, of a mutant, deadly, carnivorous variety. You command this hive. Mostly, you feed on nectars, but in those rare cases when an animal is foolish enough to encounter you, it becomes food for the swarm.
It is Day 1. You are under bi-yearly observation from a team of 2 independent etymologists. Humanity is not threatened by the swarm. You have 200 slightly carnivorous Cazadors, who are reproducing at a rate of 1 every 30 days. Your environment can sustain this population indefinitely.
Your actions will prod the swarm to mutate and adapt to its current situation. In extreme conditions, you yourself will mutate. You are smart enough for basic tactics and goals, but not enough for tools.

Murder everything around you. Brahmans, raiders, everything.
BTW, this is not Fallout. This is IRL to an extent.
>>1316966
Still stands. Cows, outback dwellers, etc.
>>1316949
Rapid reproduction
>>1316949
KILL ALL NEARBY HUMANS
>>1316949
Identify the larger males. Only of the largest half of the male population will be allowed to breed. Encourages offspring to grow bigger and bigger as time goes on.
You decide to focus on growing the population of the swarm. Unfortunately, you are not smart enough to grasp complex concepts, like eugenics. All you can plan for is the immediate future.
To further grow your swarm, you hunt down the nearest prey. You manage to capture enough food that the swarm can focus on breeding. Breeding rate increases to +1 Cazador every 10 days. This will be sustained for 100 days before your food surplus runs out.
It is Day 15. You are under bi-yearly observation from a team of 2 independent etymologists. Humanity is not threatened by the swarm. You have 200 slightly carnivorous Cazadors, who are reproducing at a rate of 1 every 10 days. Your environment can sustain this population indefinitely. You are smart enough for basic tactics and goals, but not enough for tools or planning past the immediate future.
>Timeskip can be called into effect. At any point, if an Anon calls for a timeskip and it gets two more votes, we will skip until the next event of interest.
>What do you do?
>>1316987
Devour the etymologists, leave no trace. Use their bodies as breeding fodder.
>>1316987
Have caz's spread out and look for another hive.
>>1316987
Search for more food. Try to... think of... the future.
Find tasty cooked meat.
It'll be good for your body
Search for other environments in somewhat close proximity that could also support a population, in the event you need to relocate or expand.

>Search for other environments in somewhat close proximity that could also support a population, in the event you need to relocate or expand
You decide to send out 100 of your 200 Cazadors to scout the region. You cannot act on anything relating to the etymologists while they are not present. You go hunting, and become slightly more carnivorous. You now need some meat in your diet to stay healthy. Having hunted and consumed so much meat, the swarm is now also slightly more aggressive.
It is Day 30 - +1 to the swarm. You are under bi-yearly observation from a team of 2 independent etymologists. Humanity is not threatened by the swarm. You have 201 moderately carnivorous Cazadors, who are reproducing at a rate of 1 every 10 days. Your environment can sustain this population indefinitely. You are smart enough for basic tactics and goals, but not enough for tools or planning past the immediate future.
>What do you do?
>>1318574
Hm. If not devour the etymologists, start developing Bug Waifus and Bug Husbandos to bring them to our cause.
>>1318574
Do we have any threats that we know of in the area? Otherwise we should continue focusing on breeding and eating meat, not so much that we become totally carnivorous but moreso than now, and timeskip
>>1318635
I second a time skip.
>>1318574
Keep hunting for other cazadors
>>1318635
Eat some plants too so we become Omnivores
>seek out other nests and assimilate
>>1318574
>Eat some plants too so we become Omnivores
>kill and eat any Cazador from another swarm/nest/colony
>>1318574
>Assimilate other Cazador Hives
>Continue fucking shit up
>Scour/scout other locations
>Breed breed breed
>Timeskip
>Timeskip commencing.
You expand, assimilate, and prosper. The other hive is taken, gaining you 100 population. The swarm becomes more aggressive. They have also become more deadly, able to bring down small animals in a single sting and larger ones with concentrated effort.
All the meat you're eating is going to your head. Literally. You're slightly more intelligent - you can now plan into the immediate future! By setting goals, you can plan one or two actions into the future, depending on complexity.
It's the middle of the year - the etymologists appear! They'll be around for the next ten days, and then move on. If you do anything odd, they'll probably report it.
It is Day 180 - +18 to the swarm. You are under bi-yearly observation from a team of 2 independent etymologists. Humanity is not threatened by the swarm. You have 318 moderately carnivorous Cazadors, who are reproducing at a rate of 1 every 10 days. Your environment can sustain this population indefinitely. You are smart enough for basic tactics and goals, but not enough for tools or planning past the immediate future.
>What do you do?
>>1321163
Can we send scouts to study other insects?
Maybe we can pick up some habits of ants. Make a hive that can grow some food sources at home.
>>1321256
I can second this.
>>1321163
Try to chase off the etymologist without seeming like we are chasing them off.
>>1321256
i support this if we start to grow mold and other things that termites and ants grow we can grow bigger and more complex a stable food source and when we can take ant and termite construction metod we can build underground colonys
>>1316949
If it's not to late
>threaten the shit out of humanity.
>>1321256
I fourth this motion. We need to assimilate other species under our dominion while searching for cazadors if that fails. We need to get those numbers up- 1 every 10 days is far too slow.
>>1316949
Why are we being studied by etymologists? Are they trying to find the origin of the word "cazador"? Surely entomologists would be more interested in studying a hive of insects.
>>1321256
I support this.
>>1321163
> balance out our diet with vegitation
>>1321256
Can we send scouts to enslave other insects?
Maybe we can pick up some ants. Make a hive to grow as a food source at home.
