Five years to the day when Emperor Theodosius divided the Empire between his two sons, Flavius Honorius and Flavius Arcadius.
These next few years will determine the fate of the Empire, whether it falls into shadow, or is rejuvinated.

401: BARBARIANS CROSS THE ROMAN RHINE
-March 3rd, 401. Franks, Angrians, Vandals, Alamans, and Alans crossed the Rhine at Mainz
-CIVIC ORDER IN NORTHERN GAUL COLLAPSES
-On the east bank, the mixed band of Vandals and Alans fought a raiding party of Franks. The Vandal king Godigisel was killed, but the Alans came to the rescue of the Vandals, and once on the Roman side, they met with no organized resistance.
In response to the barbarian invasion of Gaul, Usurper Constantine III gathers Roman Legions in Britannia and invades Gaul in order to free it from barbarian invasion.
Visigoths have entered Italy and intend to march on Ravenna.
The Ostrogoths have been subjugated by the Huns.
The Swedes and the Geats are now at war.
The Sami and the Balts are now at war.
The Thuringians attempts to reclaim land ravaged by the Huns.
The Thuringians engaged a hunnic army and damaged it slightly.
The Huns continue to ravage Germania.
The Geats are no more.
The Sami begin to skirmish with the neighbouring swedes, but their army suffers a massive error in logistics and neither side wins over any territory. (rolled a zero.)
