You're a knight. A meteor flew by overhead. Out of said meteor came a busty succubus. After her shoving her tits in your face, she gets all pouty, whereupon she is killed by a trap paladin. After you spill your spaghetti everywhere when the trap says he's taken you say that you've lost all of you memories. After learning that said paladin can't read, you figure you'd tag along and teach him in the meanwhile. =
