A cursed Lake of course
>>1116341
of course, the skeletons who reside in the lake...
these skeletons were of what race again?
>>1116481
goblins of course. who else would die in such droves.
>>1116481
filthy aliens
>>1116341
the curse also makes them into cute girls
Cursed cute girl skeletons.
>>1116817
yeah, definitely not emo skulls from 2010.
>>1116866
>>1121352
The lake watches.
>>1121352
Build a bridge and a wall.
>>1121951
looks like some kind of leader has started rulling the town
>>1122877
how about a watchtower in the cove to the west?
>>1123111
Well.. no one is stopping you from adding something, if it really sucks I will repixel it when I'll get back to my pc
>>1122877
An army aproaches
>>1122877
Small outpost in mountains for copper mining. They create simple cranes, then strap themselves to a rope and dig straight down.
>>1124528
>>1124399
The army sets up camp
Should we send a diplomatic party?
>>1125117
Yes. With plenty of barrels of refreshing lake water.
When a disturbed youth in our kingdom shoots up his school and ascends to lichdom, we better have that skeleton girl army/harem waiting.
Rolled 60 (1d100)
>>1125117
Sending diplomatic party...
>>1124651
holy shit when did this start looking this great?
the opposing army didn't speak the lakemen's tongue, but they didn't attack or anything.
a wall was build around the wood town and a soldier acadamy was built.
the blue army grows bigger every day
>>1126512
The army is most likely mexicans, therefore we need to strengthen the wall
>>1126516
And make them pay for it.
Jokes aside, maybe we should offer them a gift? Food should be an universal language, shouldn't it? And we should have some of our soldiers send it, so that they don't understimate us.

Sending food...
Rolled 41 (1d100)
>>1127002
they didn't seem to like that..
they attack, and it looks like they have ladders with them.
you get +10 for walls and +5 for soldiers
enemy gets +5 horses +5 soldiers +10 ladders
my roll + bonus = enemy power
highest of first 3 rolls + bonus = your power
the bigger the difference, the bigger the victory/loss
>>1127130
dice+1d100+15
>>1127158
dice+1d100 in options.
Rolled 83 + 15 (1d100 + 15)
>>1127158
Man, I suck at this.
>>1127165
nice,
98 vs 61
the moment the leader of the enemy climbed up the ladder, a soldier of yours knocked him of it killing him instantly.
the opposing army was so shocked, they immediately bowed to you. not only did you defeat the army, you also got around 40 soldiers.
what do you do with them?
also, last "update" for tonight.
Turn them into farmers
>>1127186
Have someone learn their language and demand an explanation on their attack, and why they came here.
>>1127212
That too
>>1127209
Even though I am not against that, I believe that would be waste of resourses.
I propoce that if they become farmers, they start teaching the peasant how to defend themself, creating a martial culture. (Sorry if my English is wrong)
>>1127224
And teach our militia too
>>1127212
The Blues explain that they practice a form of ancestor worship, and believe that the lake spirits are the unquiet dead of young maidens sacrificed in this lake long ago. They had hoped to invade the city so that they might find a way to placate the spirits. This idea makes its way into Red society, and soon they integrate it with existing beliefs. They replace the buildings on the central islands with a simple temple, dedicated to keeping the spirits happy and favorable. To this end, they have a simple altar and ritual fire where a quantity of the fish caught are ceremonially gutted and burned to feed the ghosts. They also ban using the lake and its waters for anything except fishing, replacing most docks with a bridge connecting to the forest and getting drinking water from wells.
>>1128428
Explore the forest.
We already know there are cute goblin's skeleton in the lake so we should investigate if there is anything/anyone in the forest before we anger them by cutting too many trees.
(What even is that stone tower next to the forest? It has been there ever since the leader appeared.)
>>1128736
iirc it's a watchtower
>>1128428
I think the big question is, do we have technology and/or magic. If so investigate ways to rid ourselves of the ghosts. (by nuclear accelerators or spells n shit)
>>1131185
failing that, build a wall to keep the illegal ghosts out, and make the blues pay for it.
Rolled 62 (1d100)
>>1128736
exploring forest...
>>1131756
a small lake in the forest was found
a big fire destroyed a part of the city, luckily the blue people came from a city of stone and knew how to make houses out of it.
people think the lake spirits caused the fire so they started to construct a temple to keep the spirits pleased.
>>1131828
Make a stone walls that extends from the north of the city, covers the blue men's setlement, and ends in the middle of the actual wall, expanding our city.
