To your/his left, is the bridge leading to the open world.
And to your right, is the path leading to the village market, and the castle.
Where will you go? What will you do?

Get some water, throw your raisins into the water to flavor it and get some fruit in a jar. Seeing as you have no money (all you have is a stick and some raisins), poke the people with your stick unlit they give you the water and fruit. Then see what is in the tree from your first picture.
