Yeah, it's basically just to encourage people to create board-tan content. It's the only time board-tan threads are "allowed" on other boards outside of like, drawthreads, so people take it as an opportunity to draw and write. It's true that there's no real climax to it unfortunately. At best someone draws a particularly glorious piece of art like the one in the OP but that's about as far as it goes.

It's perspective doesn't fit with the character, and is barely coherent from ground PoV. Is the viewer supposed to be jumping or why nothing below 2m is visible? Or is the character retarded large? The letters are floating and outside the frame, and there's nothing particularly interesting, is just the same boring architecture from thousand videogames.
