I pretty much never cared about generals because I don't go there due to not being interested in smut or bumpfests, so I'm currently mostly in a state of happening observation. On one hand I'm enjoying this a bit because I do think /mlp/ had a few too many generals that were simply on life support or just a circlejerk between some namefags that might as well move to Skype, but on the other hand I always did tolerate generals (or rather, not arbitrarily want them dead) because in the end they often create content and because there isn't really a lot to discuss in the show that hasn't already been discussed, and who am I to tell others to use the board, it's not like the generals were suppressing discussion, after all. So in general I share a similar viewpoint about /mlp/ being in an equilibrum. However since I'm fairly impartial to the threads that got deleted, I'm interested to see how this plays out. I think if it keeps up it won't end too well, but we'll see.
