ITT Post your 4chan journey, primarily your home board that you hang out on. Please don't be afraid to be honest, I'm honestly curious.

Thanks for sharing anon. I suspect that the /b/ -> /v/ transition is very common, which is partly why I wanted to collect responses
>2012 - /mlp/: Was autistic neckbeard and found website through my embarrassing horse obsession
>2013 - /b/, /v/: newfag age. Figured out how retarded I was for watching a children's cartoon along with learning how to post
>2014 - /vg/, /pol/: Start the redpill while playing lots of vidya with the generals. Was still pretty retarded and would believe whatever I was told
Enter gayman gate
>Five guys starts up, generals on /v/ too clusterfucked to post in. I read ED for updates
>moot bans GG for being retarded
>exodus happens, like most people I go packing for a small while and come back when I realize how hopeless GG actually is
>back to /pol/ with a more open mind, actually start to take the REAL redpills and search things out for myself
>2015 - /pol/, /vg/, /f/: Still resent mods for being corrupt as I was told, begin to refine tastes in politics and get deeper appreciation for site's history
Moot dies
>begin to see that I was the wrong one about the mods
>2016 -/pol/, various other boards
I wouldn't change it even if I could.
Minus the horsefucking, that was pretty autistic.

We don't want your cancer there. Please go away.
2007/2008 (I think) I saw people on some other website talking about 4chan and /b/ decided to take a look, and decided it was garbage after a few days.
2009/2010 I saw people on another website talking about /v/ I went and liked it.
Still mostly on /v/, because I actually like video games.

I came here for /a/ and have always been here. I never posted underage and would probably hate myself if I did. Those 14 year olds who thought they were cool for using /b/ were the worst.

*always been here for /a/.
>summer 2013 - got linked to archive by a friend
>lurk mostly /a/ and occasionally /v/ and /mu/
>sometime later start coming to /tv/
>visit /qa/ pretty much regularly after moot's Q&A
>slowly lose interest in anime, barely visit /a/ anymore
>stop coming to /v/ as well eventually
>/tv/ became irredeemably shit around mid 2015, don't come there anymore
>start lurking /sci/ and /pol/ recently
>/mu/ is pretty much my home board

It took you that long to grow out of /b/? Then you moved to /v/?
It took me less than a week.

And you think denizens of /ck/ magically appear from the kitchens of 4 Star restaurants and visited no other boards or websites? How native
>>433296
lol, this is why people talk shit about /b/ - because they were 15 when they started and now they need to convince everyone that they're a super-mature /v/tard. What a farce.
>>433591
I started when I was 14. How can anyone stay on /b/ for that long, even as teens?
>>433694
it was better in the old days
2006 - found /b/
2007 - stopped using 4chan
2011 - returned to /b/, realized it's shit, didn't stop browsing it anyway
2014 - discovered hilarious naked banana image
2016 - still posting bananas in YLYL threads
also sometimes i lurk /biz/ and /int/
>2006-present
/a/
+Also used /jp/ a lot if not more than /a/ from 08-11
+used /toy/ and /m/ mostly for gunpla stuff from about 10-12. I actually still do plamo like crazy but am so far above those guys' levels it's simply a waste of my time talking to them.
+Also still lurk /k/ a lot. I think I started from following the Arab Spring-rooted conflicts since they have/still have some of the most informative and interesting info, also read up on military hardware news etc.
