But everybody on /tv/ are obsessed with proving they're not a "pleb" or "reddit" by putting anything and everything down. I've seen people shitpost in "kino" threads too.

/tv/ needs to be cleaned up. People should be free to banepost or whatever else they want to do, but do it on [s4s] from now on.

Amazing that as shitty as /tv/ is, your complaint has nothing to do with the actual reasons that it's shitty. So I'm going to hazard a guess and say you don't even post there.

Actual problems /tv/ is facing:

>constant crossposting from /v/, /a/, and /co/ (i.e. who would star in the movie of [non-/tv/-related property here], which then turns into a discussion about that property that has nothing to do with /tv/)
>/pol/ hijacking threads and turning them into /pol/ threads
>constant shitposting/derailing by bringing up reddit
>shameless youtuber/e-celeb channel whoring

I'm hoping the capeshit and star wars garbage threads will eventually go away on their own.

Also before some autist starts throwing a fit, I don't have anything against /pol/, I browse it myself now and then. But it doesn't fucking belong on /tv/ and I'm sick of having legit /tv/ threads derailed by /pol/acks.

/tv/ is why I love talking about capeshit shows on /co/. You can't fix TV, it's userbase is movie critics, writers and hollywood insider wannabees.

The open field day that was Star Wars on /tv/ is the same thing that happens every time something hugely topical or relevant releases. If it's too big to contain in a sticky, they don't bother. Let the hype train roll in and out on its own accord and clean up whatever straggles behind.
