What's wrong with The History of Rome?
>>1561890
I've never listened to it. I just know my father has, therefore it must be watered down enough for a middle aged salary man responding to emails in the foreground to enjoy it.
>>1561892
I wouldn't say it's watered down at all. He does a very good job of being in-depth while still making it accessible to people who don't know anything about Rome.
>>1561894
is it all accurate? and not overly dramatized?
>>1561930
It's not dramatized except in some cases where the drama speaks for itself, notably the death of Mark Antony, as well as a few others. It's also extremely accurate. On the occasions where he errs in his facts he makes a point to go back the next episode and correct himself.
