Redpill me on /bant/. Is it already dying? Was /bant/ a mistake?

/bant/ is the indisputable best board on 4chan

A vision came to me today.
See, everyone including the staff knows /pol/ is the cancer tumor killing the entire site. /pol/ might be a think-tank comparable to legitimate intelligence agencies, but they don't fit well into the rest of the site and into what the site was about previously.
But they can't just kill /pol/ straight out, the board would just flip out and destroy everything ever.

So, the mods created /bant/. As a /pol/ garbage bin, and with it's sudden development of culture it's filling it's purpose perfectly.
/bant/ is not a board to store /pol/ trash in. It's the board where /pol/ trash is sent to suffer and die. Slowly the mods will move everything that makes /pol/ /pol/ to /bant/ and /bant/ will tear it to pieces and leave nothing behind. Eventually, by utilizing the culture on /bant/, the mods will have destroyed everything about /pol/ and can then safely remove the board.

And then, 4chan can finally go back to being an obscure internet forum for nerds and weebs, rather than being host to whatever stupid political debate is currently going on in the world.

/bant/ is the chosen board and it's doing fine.
