How do you organise your images/folders?

for anime
anime > show > character > image
anything else goes in a reliant folder in the same sub directory as the anime folder.
I name my anime pictures as "character name" and "brief description of the expression or whats happening" while everything else is just the latter.
for example pic related is anime > nichijou > hakase > hakase eating.gif

I have a meme folder for dumb stuff, a folder for anime images like the one you posted-I rename the image to the name of the character followed by something (this one would be called:Yui eat) is easy to find them that way, anime episodes go in a different folder for each series, a folder for music with different albums and a folder called "torrents dump" which is just a bunch of torrent files

I don't lately and it looks like hell.

I just put all my images in one folder and name them 1.png, 2.png, ..., x.png. Then I add a new card to my Anki 4chan images deck so that I can memorize them all and quickly find.

I use Hydrus tags for franchise, character, elements, etc. Example: evangelion ayanami_rei smile (can't post the image because I'm not on my main computer but you get the idea)

A folder for scrots
A folder for anything else that has subfolders for webms and animated gifs

If I've gone 10 years without organizing at all, where would I even start?
It just gets worse and worse over time.
