I don't know, but it's a Mega Man-style platformer, so you can get by without understanding the text. The story is that Beldia (?) comes back to life and brainwashes the 3 main girls into becoming his underlings.

There's also a fan-made (this one came bundled with a S2 Blu-Ray) RPG Maker game that looks pretty cool and has an English translation.

A while ago. I finished it completely at S difficulty.
The game became easy once I learned to move effectively, and acquired literal built-in cheats such as Freeze + Explosion and Sniping level 3, which is even more OP than the former because of its spam potential and the fact that you can aim with it. Overall, it was unbalanced, but a lot of fun and the best Megaman clone I'd played in a while.
The panties were a nice touch, too.

Proper pixel art with a limited color palette and resolution is a skill just like any other. This website was dumb enough to save this as a JPEG, but there's only 3 specific pixel colors on this ninja's body. Artists back in the 8-bit and even 16-bit days were truly skilled.
