If the text of a post contains "sage", it should silently ignore sage existing in the options field and always bump the thread.

I dont even know why noko and sage are still features.
You dont need noko anymore. You dont need nonoko because you can just quick reply and move on. Sage is useless on really fast boards where the next guy is gonna bump anyway. Announcing sage is worthless because of the previous point and also it's not visible and a lot of people barely know what it means now.
Sometimes I actually use sage, then wonder why I bothered. Other times I think "shit I didnt want to bump that and forgot to sage" then immediately think "oh well people are just gonna bump it anyway."
I feel like we still have these features just out of tradition. Unless you disable any and all site/browser plugins they dont serve a purpose.
