forced /pol/&/v/ meme that started in 2014 with dumb phrases like nu-fun and nu-male. the only appropriate use of the term was when it was used to describe the state of the boards it came from themselves for example nu/v/ describes post 2014 /v/ when the board got worse. alongside a bunch of terms that came after 2014 you can usually tell the people using these terms are newfags when they use it in broad context

Neo and nu are different things when refering to internet groups
The "nu" of a group literally means new, e.g. people who are new to the group
The "neo" of a group means the post of the group, people who have either moved past the group in some identifyable way or have developed a tangent to the group
I see people confusing these terms a lot, and i'm not even sure if I have them right
