Look at /b/. Nobody that lurks /b/ is interested in 2D/Random, they all just want to look at porn or share pictures "they shouldn't" share. If I went to /b/ and were to use it the way I want my threads would just be pruned with 2-3 replies due to lack of interest. Most people interested in these threads don't want to go to a board that is made up of uninteresting people who just go there to share uninteresting images they could find anywhere else on the internet or on 4chan's adult boards. For a start /b/ would definitely be a more diverse and interesting place if the mods purged it from all porn dumps that fit better on /s/, on /gif/ or on /hc/, while loli threads can just go to trash.
Another reason why people want a 2D/Random board is that when you go to any other random board people will attack you for making 2D threads. It is because they believe due to their lack of knowledge that anime belongs on /a/ and for some reason feel the need to shit up other peoples thread, or because they are trolls.

Well whos fault is it that there aren't many weebs on /b/? You guys effectively appeared on /qa/ out of nowhere around febuary, why can't you do that with /b/? I don't think many /b/tards give a shit what threads are on it as long as they can have trap threads as well.
Surely you can see from an outsider point of view there is no difference between a porn dump, hentai dump, and softcore/cute dump.
